Those games that eats up over 8GB of VRAM stutters as the GPU ran out of available VRAM. In Tekken 8 however you'd be lagging for the rest of the game after couple of battles and sometimes crashed in loading when entering battle from that point on. That's the main reason I upgraded from RX6600 to 7600XT. Never crashed and could handle 1080p Ultra Preset with TSR (the crispiest anti-aliasing option in T8) in 60 fps 99% of the time.

Dude that was really helpful, I was actually hoping this video had some Tekken 8 benchmark, I currently have a 5500XT and been thinking to switch to the 7600 XT for that reason, mine also starts going potato mode after some matches and also really messed when fighting on Fallen Destiny stage sometimes crashing glad to know ultra preset will work fine

@@JeanClaudeBalam You also may want to consider 6700xt. It does draw more power than 7600xt but it has a higher bus width and its price is about equal or slightly cheaper than 7600xt. I've seen it is also about up to 10% more performance (FPS) as well. The only downside is probably being one generation behind the 7000 series. I go with 7600xt mainly because I don't want to replace my PSU yet.

AMD does not have "ray tracing cores", it's all unified compute, but raytracing essentially renders everything twice so it takes much more memory

the suddenly huge slowdown on the 8 GB card seem a Bug in VRAM caching. happen not on old GFX cards see rx6500 4GB far cry 6 videos about that a old 2 GB gforce 1030 have this no . bewr gforce have problem too can read

when you run out of vram the excess data has to be cached in system ram, and when it is needed it has to be fetched (or "paged") into vram again, if there's only a little excess this is fine, but if there's a lot rendering stops and you get hitches and stutters or really low fps due to waiting, it's not a bug, it's how it works. if a game overcommits more than it needs then high vram usage is not an issue, but if it needs a lot then it is an issue. in any case it's better than crashing with an out of memory error the moment you allocate one byte more than is available.

Yup. MEDIA CENTRE class card. Not even an entry level gaming card! But then, it came to market at $250. Expensive, for a media centre card. Just like the 1050 and 1050, being $160 and $200 respectively, for MEDIA CENTRE class cards. All of them, unable to run modern games at 1080p 60fps. Disgraceful. But then, whats the 4060's excuse? MEDIA CENTRE CARD that cost $400!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hardly worth slamming AMD for the $250 7600, when the 4060 cost almost DOUBLE and still couldn't run modern games at 1080p 60fps! :D

There are litereally HUNDREDS of Day One reviews of the 1050Ti on KZbin and on websites such as Anandtech, Toms Hardware, PC World etc. That ALL show the 1050Ti scoring in the 30fps range on modern titles in high settings 1080p on day of release. The Division, Dark Souls III, Forza Horizon 3, Deus Ex Mankind Divided .... and dozens more! 1050Ti failed MASSIVELY in many 2016 games, needing either 720p or medium settings 1080p to even come close to 60fps. And the 1650 Super was about as fast as an RX580! A card from TWO AND A HALF YEARS EARLIER, but yet the 1650Super cost $230! SAME AS THE RX580 COST in 2017! Paying the same price for the same performance 2.5 years later? Yeah mate! GREAT CARD! AHahaha :D
