rx 7900 gre it's not at full power. It has a button to change from silent to OC and the power draw jump from 270w to 300w. C. Clock as well.

I have a 7900 xtx hellhound and it overheats like crazy when i play any gpu demanding game for more than 10 min i hit 88* easily not sure if its powercolor or 7900xtx but im going to a GRE or 4070 ti s, not getting powercolor anymore

Try an undervolt before returning,my 3070ti palit gaming pro hit 84 easily too and after undervolt + oc,i increase my performance,lower the power consumption and temps,now hits 63.

I have a Hell hound 7900XTX and haven’t encountered this issue at all. I play all games for the most part at 4K native or 4K with FSR/Xess. It may be an issue with your card? Try taking a look at the thermal paste and see if it needs to be re-pasted.

The 7900gre bottleneck the cpu ? Why cpu is more used with xtx ?

😅 Because its getting more fps on the xtx, so the cpu have to work a little more for that reason.

That's because the 7900XTX is more powerful and the CPU doesn't need to wait as much as for the 7900 GRE to process frames.

why lol? why 1080p and such a small monitor?? upgrade that first, a 1440p 160hz 27" monitor will change your life and the 6800xt is well enough for that
