is there still any archives of iw4x? uninstalled mw2 after reinstalling my OS and never got back iw4x and i don’t think it’s possible to find the client anymore

I think there's ways to get it through the waybackmachine! I could be wrong though. Also, worth double checking your appdata like I showed in the video. Could have the .dll there and could reinstall steam MW2, put the dll in there and run it! Other than that I'm not sure :/

@@Rxqe well if it’s an Os reinstallation the appdata is going to be brand new so there isn’t an iw4x dll. maybe it’ll be on way back, maybe someone still has files to redistribute (probably not a good idea entirely tho)

technically yeah they could, but the IW4 engine limitations are what caused them to move to H1 in the first place. the arz guys did an insane job on bringing all the new snipers on to MW2

rename your usermaps folder. in your MW2/4x directory theres a folder named 'usermaps', I renamed mine to 'usermapss' and it works!
