This is my first CoD ever and i don't get that hate towards the SBMM. At start i played against like bot npc for couple days, since they got no data on me. Those dudes literally were standing open area and were easiest kills, even for me who hasn't played FPS games before. That wasn't even fun to get streaks like that, boring as hell. I got my K/D to like 3-4 and then SBMM kicked in and i got down to 1 or something. Now im prestige master and 1.9 K/D. Just get better, leave or buy botties to show your truly skills.

Just got mine, average for MWIII is 402. You can definitely see how lobby skill matters even without 2boxing since I had a 480 average in october 2024 which was the last month where the game had all the players before most switched over to bo6 so even though I play better now I only average a 400 skill rating since the lobbies are lower skill on average. Mind you this was mostly 10v10 where the average lobby skill is most likely lower than in regular 6v6 on average. Very interesting, also requested my data for my steam account which used to be my main but since I got shadowbanned so often I had to get another which turned into my main account since I got shadowbanned less on that one. Will be nice to see what my skill rating was on that since I mostly sniped initially which I don't really do at all now.

Ngl, I play servers with 68 + ping. Sometimes it goes over 200, we're I click, and a half second later, the server catches up 10 percent packet burst average. But ping is king lol 😂

LOVE for Demonware (CoD's studio behind networking) to implement or fully switch their server infrastructure to Microsoft Azure as it is one of if not the best architecture in terms of networking out there but we're sure that'd mean a huge cost to do that and Microsoft has been proving that all they've done with the franchise is cutting costs if anything. And while that wouldn't be the perfect solution some of their first party titles such as Gears 5 and Forza Horizon 4, 5 and Motorsport do run on Azure and the networking is excellent. Of course it is still dependent on the game's engine and its netcode implementation and what not but most of their titles minus Halo have been showing great results if they utilize those resources or are willing to work with it, even though I highly doubt it as it'd be another investment to do.

My major irritation is the spawning. I mean it’s routine to get spawned right in front of an enemy or they spawn on the other side of the map after 10 seconds to shoot you in the back.

The call of duty community casual echo chamber is insane, so much cope and misinformation spread within the casual community. I noticed and wondered why I keep seeing so many TikTok’s of players thinking they are doing anything cool but in reality it’s mediocre at BEST. Then it clicked, the reason why so many people like SBMM and are so vocal about defending it is because they think they are playing great in their own echo chamber. This creates a false sense of reality and doesn’t help you become a better player. It just makes you think you are but in reality nobody wants to watch your mid clips, you’ll stay horrible at the game and never get better. REMOVE SBMM!

As bad as the situation is with BO6s SBMM, I have to admit I’m glad to actually see the data showing how bad it is. Gives me clarity definitively knowing that this is an actual problem with the game and not me wondering time to time if I’m just flat out bad at the game.

what do you do to level up fast? I hit Master Prestige 3 weeks ago and am only level 84, it feels like after hitting Master Prestige leveling up takes so much longer, I play a few hours everyday, sometimes every other day.

I've been getting in to extremely high ping lobbies, rubber banding every game. All because the Sbmm is so damn strict. When the game population is low, getting a good connection game is impossible. I literally have to play solo.

I play on console and while bo4 is SUPER sweaty its still nothing compared to sbmm lobbies. I cant even enjoy the good lobbies in newer cods because next match im getting destroyed by people better than me for few games
