Hi Pattie! I’m up here in Canada. I just watched about 3 of your videos & will be hunting for more! I so love your genteel voice & demeanour. I have a stepmother out in British Columbia who sounds just like you but she is from Texas. I could listen to you all day! Your voice is very calming! This video really hit home with me. I haven’t felt very well for a few days & I’ve been trying to make myself go to hospital. At the start of the COVID lockdowns all of the professionals that I trusted & really depended on retired! My wonderful dentist, my caring doctor ( who tried to help me when my only son died 7 years ago), my kind pharmacist, my chiropodist and YIKES my hairdresser who I’d gone to for about 20 years & who had become a family friend! I can’t find another doctor which I find incredible! I can’t wrap my head around that! I should’ve stayed way up North near Timmins in a rural community where everyone was so kind to everyone else. There was just one doctor for the 3 rural communities & he didn’t deny his services to anyone! I’d even try to pay myself for the care but they are all on our provincial medical plans & they don’t seem to care about their patients like doctors used to. I turned 70 on September 24 & after all the botched shoulder replacement surgeries & the skin infection I’ve had for the past TWO YEARS exactly & with whatever is making me feel sick right now…I saw you doing makeup for us older gals & wanted to shout hallelujah! Even though I’m sick, I’ve been thinking a lot about doing my own makeover which I desperately NEED after two years of COVID looking like a slob with no makeup & wearing sweatpants all the time! And, you guessed it, I stopped colouring my hair completely after losing my wonderful male Italian hairdresser. My hair is now almost to my waist even though my daughter has cut 6” off of it! Sometimes it looks nice but with my right shoulder being replaced I haven’t been able to put it up. I was really hoping to just go up the street to Magicuts to get some sort of cut & shaping until I can find a salon I like but maybe I should go to hospital instead? Before my hairdresser retired he commented on the grey hair coming in & said that I was actually really lucky because it just looks like a really light blonde! That made me more confident to let it grow out. Anyhow, to get more to the point, I felt that I was “supposed” to see this video for two reasons: to get your wonderful advice in makeup and the timely advice about getting any unusual health problems checked out. In closing, I love your makeup! You are so sweet & you & I are on the same page about being kind to others. I believe that to be a sacred duty done with LOVE. So sorry for your neighbor. Prayers sent to her family to help them find comfort during this difficult time. I work at a hospital watching heart monitors so I'm aware that heart attacks can definitely present very differently for women. So thank you for letting your subscribers who may not have know something like heartburn can be a symptom of a heart problem or heart attack. Love your videos. I'm turning 60 in 2 months. I'm entering a new decade and definately changes in my skin so I'm looking forward to trying the doll 10 products, especially the foundation and concealer. Love all your videos

Oh Patti! We all do love you - your kindness is just a beacon for those who could stand a little TLC... I am so very sorry for the crossing of your neighbor/friend... it touches us all this sense of loss... it is something we all experience... one just never knows when it is going to be their time... don’t change a thing about your videos! The clutter behind you makes us feel as though we really are sitting face to face sipping our tea or coffee and just chatting away! It is part of you... and that is what keeps us coming back! Just think of this- during this pandemic for many a conversation with you ( yes some of us actually answer you back as you speak and we even lol with you ) May be the only contact that they have with another person - what a gift you are giving them! Thank you so much for being so sweet and kind. You truly are an inspiration. I was out by my pool this afternoon, for quite a while. Listened to music from the 70,s, such as , James Taylor, Seals and Croft and Crosby Stills Nash and Young. Took me back to such a wonderful time in my life. When i finally came inside to begin dinner for my husband, he said he had watched the two news channels and was bombarded by the Corona Virus and The Protests. I told him, I was sorry he had watched that, I was so happy in another era for a couple of hours. Hi Patti - New subscriber here, but have been watching your videos for the past year. I'm sorry to hear about your neighbor, but glad that you shared because heart disease in women presents with varying symptoms, different from men. I had a heart attack ten years ago at age 57. My symptoms were pain down both arms from the shoulder to finger tips. It began early afternoon & wasn't severe pain, I went on with my day never imagining it was my heart. I was 6 weeks out from having a double mastectomy & thought perhaps I had lifted something too heavy or overworked my arms the day before. As the day progressed the pain worsened. By 10pm I had severe pain down both arms and took an aspirin - thank God I did. I still tried to ignore it and went to bed. Immediately upon laying down I had pain in my jaw and nausea, I knew then it was my heart. I had a 98% blockage in the right coronary artery which required a stent. It's important to spread awareness about heart disease in women as warning signs are so different. Thank you for your videos, you are a lovely woman and I always look forward to your next one.

I am about 50% gray now. I tried to grow out my natural color last year, and like you, I hated it. I'm just not ready for that! :) I like my hair colored and highlighted and I'm going to continue that until I get tired of it. I enjoyed the video. I think you do an excellent job.

I'm a natural brunette and before I was able to get to the salon, my gray looked horrible! It completely washed me out and I looked at least 10 years older. I'm 74. My hairdresser opened up last month and I was there the next day 😁 It was very sanitary and safe so I wasn't concerned at all. I felt so much better after and, like you, It has so much more body when I get it done. Don't grow gray, Patti, if you don't like it....ever. xoxo Pat

Loved to watch this one Patti. Trying to see how you put on the eyeliner. Think I like the new camera and I do like the blonde . I have grey hair in the front but still that blah light brown/dirty blonde in the back so I too have pretty blonde hair all over thanks to "the box". My hairdresser says she will tell me when it will be time to do something else. Would love to hear about the crafts you are working on! I’m like you always trying to use a lot of my stash during this pandemic and going forward I’m trying very hard to limit my cosmetics to essentials.I worked as a makeup artist for years and definitely a junkie.I attempt to use makeup daily but while cleaning a lot and gardening...I just use sunscreen and go!!! I had the unusual indigestion a while back for a few days and went to the ER they ran every test and ultra sound. Thank our good Lord it was acid reflux. I was sooo scared. HI Patti, love your new makeup and the color looks beautiful on you. I'm like you, I hate my gray hair. I am 71 yrs. young and have gray all around front part of my head/face. Dark brown from med section of my head to the entire back. I purchased a very good root spray. It has a fantastic spray nuzzle which allows me to spray all of the front part of my hair and it blends in perfect. No one can tell the difference. I now have better confidence in how I look to people. People were telling me how much they liked my gray hair and it was becoming. Not to me it wasn't. By the way, I checked and I'm still subscribed and do receive notices when you have a new video. All of the videos I have watch of yours are very clear with good audio. I had to laugh when you had the power shortage happen for just after that happened to you my internet service went down. lol. Had to reboot and it took forever. So sorry about your neighbor. Yes, we women need to take seriously when we have indigestion, and other slight hints with tingling and such. Take them seriously and get to your doctor. Right? When we were shut in for so long my hair really grew and it is pure white! People have been telling me for a while I should let it grow out. Well now I am going natural but it seems I have some lines of very dark brown so it will look like it has been highlighted! I have heard about this utube situation. Thanks 😊

I am new to your videos. I started watching Dominique Sashe and seen your video from that page I was watching. Now I pretty much just watch you. I watch you while I am putting my make up on. I am almost 61 years old, and the only time I don't put on my make up is if I am sick in bed. The older I get , it seemed to be too hard for too little result, is how I was feeling. I must say since watching YOU, I don't feel that way anymore. I enjoy your videos and even when I am done with my make up and in my office cleaning or doing crafts, I will sometimes play your videos to listen to while I am busy doing something else, so I even just listen in . When you made the comment about not doing your eyeshadow one day, and every time you pased by a mirror - you thought you looked sick. My daughters haven't seen me without make up for so long, because they have grown and moved out, they forgot I put it on everyday. I told my husband I was going to take it all off before their next visit to see the reaction. Not sure I can even do that. Ha Ha It just makes such a big difference. Oh, Patti...I'm so sorry about your neighbor/friend. I paused the video after you shared the story and said a prayer for her. ❤️ The foundation and concealer are absolutely gorgeous and have such a pretty finish! Your hair looks fab, I think you did a great job with the color! It's funny, I was also a blonde, but a couple years ago, I decided to stop having my highlights and lowlights so now I'm just silver. My stylist says that it doesn't _read_ gray and still looks blonde...of course that might just be bs 🤔 I'm happy with it most days, but there are some days that I can't believe my mother is looking at me in the mirror! 😆 Anyway, ya gotta do whatever you're comfortable with and (again) you did a great job!

That foundation looks fabulous! I've wondered about Doll10 and I don't think I've seen anyone else review it. You are rocking it! Your hair looks great. I don't know if it's just the coloring on my laptop but you seem to have the faintest pinkish tint in your hair and it's so flattering. How sweet of you to be concerned for your fellow youtubers! Hi Patti, You are a very accomplished KZbin creator. I applaud your efforts. I understand what you mean about not going gray. During our first half of lockdown when our hair salons were closed my hair had a time to grow out. I usually keep my hair highlighted and the gray had taken over! I couldn’t believe how much gray there was, especially at my temples. I like the Tartelette Palette you used. I have the sister palette to that one, the Tartelette in Bloom Palette. I feel exactly as you do about gray. 65, born a red head, started going grey and coloring for years! With pandemic, my daughter made me blond so new growth wouldn’t look so bad. Now I have like 5” gray....don’t like it either! Some women look beautiful with gray. I’m not one of them, and actually I’m more white than gray...so in spring going more beige blond! Oh Patti, I'm so glad you didn't go grey! I personally think grey is very aging, no matter how young you are. The only time I think it's okay is if it's that very white shade. We started watching some programs together and I became hooked. You are the first person I subscribed to.
