This is a private note to you, Patty, something I decided on when I was about halfway through your last video - the long one with all of the diversionary detours - was to tell you how much I enjoy your videos. Before I go on I want to mention that as I type, I am wearing my City Lips lip plumping gloss, my nightly ritual. I bought the one with HS plumping spheres & collagen peptides. I turned into a 78 year old woman this past February, 2022. Interesting how I did it without even trying. (I just now wanted to add an emoji but couldn’t decide on a smiley face or a tearful face so…..) Hi! Patti, I used to use all kinds of products on my face and none of them made a big difference. Then I remembered from years ago a dermatologist had said that none of that stuff does any good, that all you need I’d a good moisturizer cream. So I took his advice and that’s all I use now. And my skin looks just as good if not better. I think these companies that sell all these different products for different areas of your face are just in it to make money, and they know we women are vain creatures and always trying to find the fountain of youth, and we’re fair game to try anything, and spend all kinds of money doing it. Just thought I’d tell you, you are so good to give advice to help others. Maybe you should give it a try. Just a really good moisturizer and nothing else. I works for me. 😉🥰

HAPPY 77 SUNSET STRIP PATTI! You look wonderful! I think you may be my sister from another mister as I bet my make up and skin care stuff rivals yours! Lol! Love the Bare Minerals gen nude rose palette! City Beauty is great- I use the lip plumper in clear same as you do... and the pink taupe is my go to color from them... but since we are masking up ( oh and I LOVE THEIR HYDRA MASK)I found out quickly that it DOES transfer to the mask so I have gone to Revlon color stay overtime and I alternate between a Rimmel lip liner and a revlon lip liner- NO TRANSFER! Sounds like that first “hate” comment was a defining moment for you in a very positive way... being a grandma is so much richer than being a mother in many ways- you are so much more relaxed with a grandchild - maybe because we know what to expect after having watched our own kids grow or just by gaining wisdom through the years of our lives... I do not have any bio kids of my own, but have made a career ( lol) of raising up others kids... great work if you can get it... but... grandchildren... OMGoodness... what a blessing they are! Great grandchildren too... just special treats to our lives! Well, my coffee mug is almost empty now... as always it was fun chatting and having some meaningful girl talk! Happy Birthday Tomorrow! You look beautiful as always and are so positive and upbeat. I finally had 4 inches cut off of my hair and with the help of a new stylist all my hair is silver to match what I have been growing out since 9/19. It’s pretty cool cuz he did not touch my roots and bleached the brown that was left and toned it silver so I feel great! Love that the ends are slightly lighter which I have seen in some of the new fall hairstyle videos on KZbin:) I got my new nails you recommended 2 days ago so today I’m going to play spa day and give my entire body a full treat! We have the hurricane lurking near but I don’t think it will be serious but I never underestimate a storm! What a joy to spend time with you this Sunday.... when I saw it was a long video I decided to cut fabric for a quilt.... listening to you in the background was happy, happy!! I’ve meant to comment for some time to say how much I’ve benefited from your videos. I am 71.. married 50 plus years to the love of my life who likes hair and makeup and cute clothes. I worked professionally in a job that required all that but I NEVER knew what I was doing with makeup and skincare. And living in South Texas and loving the outdoor life my skin took a beating. I heard your comments re not seeing a difference in the different products. What I see is after learning from you and Little Poet it’s about actually doing it.... everyday... I can afford high end but I use the things y’all recommend..... and I do have friends say Oh my you are looking so good, what are you doing! It is noticeable. During Covid we are mostly home but my sweetheart still likes to see the cute girl so the makeup and hair (wig) are definitely there. Thank you so much for your videos..... you are a joy

Patti do stay in as much as you can, you’ll know when you feel safe about going back out into public. We’ve lost friends and one family member to Covid! It’s not about being politically right, it’s being personally safe! Also, I’ve used Dollar Tree hair color for YEARS! I only use it on my roots, I use it once a month. Gentle on the hair bc the developer isn’t as harsh and strong as what you’d buy in drugstores or Walmart. That color looks very nice on you too! 😉

I don’t usually watch long videos without taking a break and watching another video. This was the exception. I watched this straight through with only a bathroom break. Patti, I know there were no ground breakers here but I just enjoy visiting with you. I love many of the products you used. Doll 10 is a great brand that very few reviews. I have their double ended eyeshadow brush and it is a favorite. I think it came with a pallet I bought years ago. Stay safe, I know Fl. Patti I usually keep my used bottles (I used Revlon ammonia free colourstay), wash them out and leave them on a rack to dry. When I start on my next box of colour I take a little product from each and put them into the washed containers to use for touch ups. it’s really pretty cost effective.

Happy Birthday Patty. I always enjoy your makeup application videos. When I was younger, I use to sit on the edge of the bathtub or on the commode and watch my mother apply her makeup. We would just visit while she applied her makeup! Oh how some things take you back. I have to tell you, my mother was a remarkable mother. She was a young widow at 25 years old with a 2 & 3 year old. I was the 3 year old. She raised us by herself until I was almost 13. She had prayed if God wanted her to remarry, he had to be a widower so he would understand her loss, he had to be a Christian so he would respect her faith and he couldn't smoke because she was allergic to cigarette smoke. Well, when I was almost 13, she met this man who had lost his wife to uterine cancer, was a Christian and didn't smoke. He had a 6 year old little girl that they had adopted as a baby so, I got a little sister too! My parents were married for 43 years before Dad passed away and my mother passed away several years after. We had the first " Brady Bunch" family! Anyway, I have been very blest. Patti you're a hoot! This is your second video I'm watching. I thought your channel name was Prescription Strength Mom! But then I heard you say Rockstar Mom! LOL. I hope you can have a good laugh about that the way I did! I'm one of those "young" gals at 34. I'm not too scared of aging though, at least not for my physical appearance. I'm getting married this Saturday and I've always been an "older person" in my eyes. I'm older than my future husband by a few years, I'm the oldest sibling in my family. Being "older" has just been a part of my identity. I've also discovered "older" women such as yourself and Monique Parent that show me just how incredibly glamorous and beautiful we continue to be at any age!

Ms. Patty, you are precious! I had to go and errands. But I put on make up n a nice outfit! I love what you said about getting older and how we look. I don’t know if I will keep it up but I may, cause I really don’t go out unless I have to! I told my niece about you! I now have much more time just for me! Patti, I wasn’t feeling too chipper when I clicked on today’s video. I didn’t know if I had the patience to watch, but, here I am smiling AND I wish it had been longer! You are such a lovely and genuine “friend” and I look forward to every video! Maybe you could do a mask video, I’m still self conscious wearing one, and seeing people in them. What I meant by a “mask video” is designs, materials, and things that help make them more comfortable to have on. I’ve seen different things to hook the elastic to to help them fit better and be comfortable on the ears. There’s an art and things available I am sure to make this necessary item more comfortable, even effortless. At least I hope so. Have a lovely day!
