Thanks for the info. I just bought an Ezgo and have problems with the cart brakes freezing at full speed and turning off the cart. After turning the ignition key off and then on it works again. The batteries are new. Could it be the controller? Bill Daumen

Hi Bill, the controller does work the brakes but could be other things also?? What year is yours?

Thanks for the very informative video. I have a 2021 RXV cart. I am assuming it has the Naviris controller. Not sure of the spelling. If my cart has the Nativis controller, can you tell me the App to download on my cell phone. Also if my controller is bad, how much will l a replacement controller cost. I do appreciate you video and any guidance you can provide.

Unless a previous owner installed one we doubt thats what you have? Will be easy to tell by removing your cover to see. They are a bright green as you see in this video. If you do have a bad controller we highly recommend going with the Navitas. Give us a call and we can go over a few test to try and help you. You will need a volt meter. 276.632.8905

@@cartsmarttv Am quite sure it's a Curtis controller. I've been concerned because the cart is a rebuilt RXV but the brakes are somewhat inconsistent at times. At times the braking slows the cart when the foot is lifted off the pedal ...other times it seems to be freewheeling at slows to a stop. Thanks for the reply concerning the controller. My cart is under guarantee by the selling company however I am doubtful they are understanding my issue as they say its working normal.

I have a RXV from 1/13/2010 the first thing I noticed is the Solenoid is a 36v on a 48 v system. The next issue is it has 51v on the battery but it will only move slightly faster than a snail on hot pavement. Any thoughts? By the way very informative video

They all use a 36 volt solenoid so no worries there. As to the slow running it could be either the encoder or controller maybe? We go into some more detail on this video > kzbin.info/www/bejne/oKbRkHljl72Cp80si=2jfitNkRC8GHB0En Feel free to give us a call with any help we can be. Thanks for watching! 276.632.8905
