I am a gay guy who gave it all to be str8 till I was 28. I forced myself to walk, talk and act like a str8 guy and all of that while I was thinking of myself through everyone else's eyes. I was so depressed, anxious and I was in such a dark place. All my energy went into becoming someone else. In that darkness, I was living for the whole life the God himself sent me the most beautiful impuls of what is going to be a life changing experience. I realised that there is a plant medicine called ayahuaska and I felt such a strong call to go and heal myself. I am forever grateful that it found me before it was too late. I am 38 now and still recovering to be honest. I still have aspects that I am working on cause they were so strongly suppressed for such a long time...I felt so deeply both their stories and it was such a relief to be honest cause there is so many of us who go trough this.

This is one of the best podcasts I’ve ever listened to too!. I’m fascinated with the Mormon religion and love to hear about it including all its glory and not so good glory. Hearing how your family didn’t discriminate your brother is so inspiring to know and it’s really blown my mind. Looking forward to next weeks episode. Well done Sarah and lo as this channel is amazing!. Love and best wishes from Debbie in Bristol uk xx

Sarah, if you want to cry, cry. It is part of your personality. Stop trying to hold yourself back; crying is catharsis, it is relief, it is pureness. You don't need to feel ashamed of that. Empower your tears, girl! ♡ ... Btw, it is a little bit anticlimactic when you try to change the subject to stop crying. Hahaha.

The little plastic babies were originally created for Mardi Gras. Custom dictates that every party should have a king cake and every king cake has a tiny plastic baby hidden inside. The baby symbolizes the baby Jesus because of the connection to “King’s Day.” Whoever finds the baby while eating the cake becomes the “king” or “queen” of the evening’s festivities. 🥳
