I had a hard time following some of the points he was making. Maybe it's just too late at night, but some of the ideas like transitions I didn't quite get. I'll have to go read elsewhere.

It is a bit above average. But it's is quite simple idea. When you do mutation - you either show results of this mutation gradually in UI or all at once. Transitions allow you to show to the user old state while under the hood there is new state fetching from the backend. And when it is done the whole change is displayed at once. Solidjs gives you very granular way to control it and that is beautiful

Interesting how only React and Solid seem to have a simple reactivity model to reason about.
