Thanks Ron, I was thinking about "Professor Hammer" back in Street Rodder days and waiting patiently for my magazine to be delivered, flicking through the pages to learn what could be achieved in metal shaping.... and now Podcasts!!!! You deserve all of the accolades and in my opinion.... you should have been podcast Number 1 !!!! Thank you for all that you do and have done.

I thoroughly enjoyed the podcast Ron. Having taken one of your metal shaping classes many years ago I must say you have the amazing gift of being able to teach, not only through your demonstrations, but in the manner you are able to articulate as well.

Always enjoy learning about metal work from master craftsman. Hey Ron?! Will you do Mclaren Park Shelby race again in San Francisco?
@RonCovell Жыл бұрын
I have participated in the Artist's Soap Box Derby race, sponsored by the San Francisco Museum of Modern art each time it was held - 1975, 1978, and 2022. I sure hope they hold another race, and I would love to be a participant! They are being a little 'sly' about if and when they may do it again.

@@RonCovell fingers crossed! Hope to see you at the next one. My 6 year old daughter and I are planning a build. Plenty of testing hills in Miraloma Park/Mt Davidson.

Really enjoyed the video Ron. Thank you. It did though, inspire me to ask a question of my own, what’s your opinion on the future of automotive metal shaping in the US? Cheers Ron.

I'm go glad you liked the interview. My crystal ball isn't working very well, so I don't want to comment on the future of metal shaping - but from my viewpoint there are more people learning it now than ever before, thanks in part to platforms like KZbin!
