Trophy Trophy !! I am 71 and retired and this past March I retired from driving a school bus, I now have time to work with the metal working tools, roller, English wheel, tubing bender, tubing notcher and hammers, nothing fancy, most from Eastwood, been enjoying all your unique videos and even though I will never be as good as you, starting so late in life and all, it is so relaxing and challenging! Learned to TIG & MIG weld from lots of KZbin videos as well! No welding or trade schools anywhere near me so watching helps, lots of trial & error but is that not how it all started? !!
@RonCovell Жыл бұрын
Sorry it's taken me a few weeks to reply, but I'm so glad you are taking the time to develop your metalworking skills! Thanks also for entering the raffle.

Attention to small details makes it so rewarding to watch your videos. Joining that perforated metal strip and having those half holes meet in the middle is seemingly a small thing, but really shouts the quality of your work. Diameter vs hole pattern will have an effect, but I’m totally buying the idea this was 100% intentional.
@RonCovell Жыл бұрын
Yes, I worked out the dimensions so the hole pattern would remain constant at the weld. It would have looked 'awkward' at the joint if I had not done that.
