I'm a Niner fan and I want to make something clear... Campbell has NOT been a good player for us this year. He has a lot of tackles because teams run AT him. He has a lot of tackles because teams throw AT him. There's no tolerance

Watched every game this season and the #1 weakness on this 49er defense has, has been Campbell. Ironically, it was the last Rams game that he got exposed. They targeted him on every drive and Campbell in coverage looked slow lost and confused. Good riddance, he was atrocious and he has the nerve to act like a princess?!

I’m just shocked with this narrative that Campbell was balling . You definitely don’t watch the games on a weekly basis if you say he’s balling and spew out how many tackles he has . He’s been garbage this year , but Shanny loves to play the vets . So Greenlaw was supposed to stay on the bench because of Campbell , gtfoh

c'mon man saying he's garbage is hyperbolic, fred warner has 106 tackles - 62 solo, 44 assisted, 1 sack, 4 forced fumbles and 2 ints in 14 games, Campbell has 79 tackles - 44 solo, 35 assisted, no sacks, no forced fumbles, no ints. 3/4 the production of an all pro is not GARBAGE, it may not be Greenlaw level of production but to call it garbage is simply not accurate, do you realized his is the 55th ranked in tackles? that is out of all of the defensive players in the nfl

To me Bart has no point. All Bart said you do before or after the game but once you suit up and make and take the field it is no Okay get about you it is about the team. You suit up for everyone and you’re saying I am here to fight for you for us. Every man on the team did that for him and he did not do the same for them. It is the equivalent of a soldier suiting up to take the battlefield with his squad and when the roll out and he is called upon to take positions and fight he says I am not fight not only he is not fighting but he is driving back to the base. That soldier would be court marshaled for that because he could have or did cost lives. With this he could have cost injuries. Possible cost the team their playoff hope or chance. Think about it someone else on the team is going through something maybe worse than him and they decided I am good to go and I am available and able to take the field. And he did the same and suited up but when came time to take the field he did not. He spat on everyone who is going through something may have a mental health issue at that time and suited and and made themselves available for the team for him as well because he suited up and wore the same colors. If he is going to get cut, the lions will pick him up. He is a starter and that is what made him so mad about the whole situation. Of course he should have known once greenlaw came back he was going to be backup. What he did was unacceptable, but the 49ers do not get to be off the hook for how they handled this.

BART Scott has NOT watched Niner football, he CLEARLY hasn’t watched their defense. Niner fan here, Greenlaw loss in the superbowl was DEVASTATING. I knew how much it would hurt that game, and knew he’d be gone the following season most likely as well. His replacement, Campbell, has been brutal majority of the season. Along with J’ayir brown, they’ve been two of the consistent weak links on the defense. Hufanga and Greenlaw comeback yesterday, and all of a sudden they look like the dominant niner defense I’ve been used to seeing. Second half comes, Greenlaw is out. Campbell continues what he’s done best on the Niners Fail to show up.

I respect what Clark said more Bart himself wouldn't do it nor tolerate it if it was done while he was playing.....we all know why Campbell did it....he should be ridiculed to the core by fellow players so that future players don't think it's acceptable to quit on your team no matter if you are a starter or not... especially during the game ..for all he knows he might've made a game winning play and elevated his "business worth"... instead he just essentially retired or the very least lost future money ...

The NFL quit on Kaepernick for protesting what he thought was injustice. He never quit on his team. Campbell quit on his team during a game. Kaep never played again. It depends on the situation. In this case, the niners haven't been doing well this year and the defense hasn't been as good as previous years. He was being replaced in the starting line up by Dre Greenlaw, who is an integral part of the D, to try to energize the unit. I didn't think this was disrespectful. Being a one year rental, you know what your getting yourself into. But it's not just doing well in stats, but also proving to your teammates why you being there, not stepping up like this will definitely not look good, and they be talking to others in the league about it

I’ve been saying for years now that Kyle Shanahan was extended overrated, and was one of the most overrated coaches in NFL history. And I’m not saying he’s bad, more so that’s he just an average coach. When he has, by far, the best roster in the league he can go far in the playoffs, just like 15-20 other coaches in the NFL would, except at least 10 of them would actually win the superbowl, unlike Kyle. But as soon as Kyle hits a bit of adversity his team just falls apart. As soon he has a couple of injuries (which EVERY team has) he compounds the issues by overplaying everyone else, and then gets everyone else injured too. Anyone else ever notice that as soon as Kyle has a couple of injuries, all of a sudden everyone on team gets injured? That’s on him, and the staff he hires.
