When I got saved I gave up a lot and not even close to what Jesus, gave up of course. I gave up myself, by dying to myself, quitting the things I knew wouldn't be pleasing to God. I understand it takes time for many of us to learn, and I pray God, is truly dealing with this mans heart, as I know he is. I want everything I do to scream "He's sold out to Jesus 100%" and make sure it's about him always. I said all that to say this and not be judgmental, I felt conviction about the music I listen to, the movies I watched, stopped going to parties and stopped wearing clothes, that made it obvious that I liked or thought it was cool to stand for people who sung songs with sin in it, or actors who made movies with sin in them. The Bible says this - If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over. Matthew 18:15 --- I listened to Sublime for year's and know their kind of music well. They sing about Partying, and many ungodly things, also the lead singer Bradley Nowell was found dead of a heroin overdose at a motel in San Francisco.May 24, 2016. There is no way God, told Ryan Ellis to wear that shirt, much less wear it during the filming of this video. I used to have all kinds of foolish shirts, CD's, movies and many other sinful thing that I burnt, cause I am 100% sold out to Jesus. This is a very talented man and yes God, can use him, but all the other things like the shirt and probably a few other things need to go, to truly let Jesus, be the full foundation, of Ryan's Ministry for our Lord. By the way I love your music and I pray you keep going forward for Jesus, but was very disappointed to see the shirt.

Ryan! Thanks for being obedient to the spirit of God and bringing these songs to the table! I’ve lead worship for many years at local churches. As of recent there came a time where I just felt, is the Lord calling me to continue to carry this worship leading torch anymore or at this time? I took a break for awhile from leading worship to check my heart. The Lord has been stirring my heart slowly and giving a fresh wine to desire leading worship again for local churches. This song and a few others have been the absolute fire for me. They’ve given language to the place where my heart is currently. I fully plan on leading with this song as one of the first ones when I get back at worship leading. Thank you!!! May God continue to bless you and your family
