The first 2 were clear knockdowns and only one counted, and when you take that into consideration it’s obvious the 3rd was a knockdown as well. Haney was so hurt that it took very little to knock him off balance, he just happened to fall into Ryan, which gave the ref enough of an excuse to call it a slip. Absolute horseshit, never seen a more obvious paid ref ever.

Despite being overwhelmed by Ryan's speed and power , Devin showed some bright spots and technical skill before the eventual knockdowns ensued. Would be interested in seeing a rematch down the line in the future after a couple of fights for Devin to reclaim his position and ranking. It definitely wasn't just a left hook, I'm nit saying the other punches did more or less or any kind of damage, only that he used his 1 2 to set up his 3 way better in this fight than the past, also he looked really big here and he hasn't seem to have lost any speed. On the surface it might look like he's a one trick pony and only mastered that one punch but that's just not true. Speed, power, and the set ups were all big factors. You still have to make the opponent respect the right hand if you're relying on the left hook otherwisenits not gonna be easy to land that hook.

After rewatching this fight's highlight I think Haney adjusted well in the first half after being wobbled in the first round. But, wasnt able to cope up with the heat after being KD in the 7th, dont get me wrong (aside from the controversy Garcia is facing as of to date) Haney is a world class fighter, his just been out classed that night by Garcia. Having watched most (OK, not all) of the full fight, some of the editing in this highlights piece seems questionable to me - it seems rather skewed, selectively showing Haney's best moments rather than Garcia's. There seem to be quite a few good Garcia moments that don't make the reel, whereas good Haney moments get in and get slow-mo replays.
