Not only was Simu Liu (Shang Chi) in there, but Kingsley Ben-Adir, Ncuti Gatwa, and Scott Evans were there. Slash did play on the original song, along with Wolfgang Van Halen, who is beside him at the end.

Also, Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt, who wrote and produced the song , played the guitar and piano at the beginning, wearing pink shirts

80% of masculinity is just confidence. You can be a 6'5 mountain of muscles wearing camouflage with a machine gun strapped to your back, but if you don't have confidence, you have nothing.

The other 4 primary Kens from the movie are there, Simu, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Scott Evans and Ncuti Gatwa who flew in from London on Thursday for 2 6-hour practice days. In the movie Wolfgang Van Halen and another guy did it. Wolfgang is there and also the Fu Fighter's drummer and he did it in the movie.

Love the beginning, how it stared, everything else in the middle and especially him belting it out at the end. Kisses his locket for Eva Mendes his wife, nice touch, the guy simply rocked it perfectly.

Slash performed on the song, all of the musicians on stage were the ones who wrote it. The four kens at the front were all in the movie, Simu is Shang-chi and Ncuti Gatwa is the new Doctor Who.

I planned the whole thing and it was his decision to honor Marilyn Monroe doing "Diamonds are Girls Best Friend" from "Gentlemen Prefer Blonds". He sang in "La La Land" and had a band called "Dead Man's Bones" for a couple of years.

Now we just need Matt Damon, Florence Pugh, Timothee Chalamet, Anne Hathaway, and Gal Gadot to appear in a Barbie sequel, with Emma Stone as Barbie’s best friend Midge who’s in love with Ryan’s Ken, and Cillian Murphy as Human Ken in the real-world, who’s Sasha’s (Ariana Greenblatt) teacher, and the love interest of Margot’s human stereotypical Barbie (Barbara Handler) in a Barbie sequel whenever Greta and Margot are planning on doing it right after when Greta gets done filming Chronicle of Narnia on Netflix. I DO hope that the original actors like America Ferrera, Ariana Greenblatt, Will Ferrell, Kingsley Ben-Adir (who also played Raggae singer Bob Marley in Bob Marley: One Love) Scott Evans, Alexandra Shipp, Michael Cera, Dua Lipa, and John Cena (Mermaid Ken) appear in the sequel too. Also, I think they should bring back Mark Ronson to compose and write more songs for the sequel (probably make it a musical this time) and probably for a Ken movie and Allan spin-off. We definitely need a musical broadway. Let’s start a petition!

The last time an actor performed this way at the Oscars was likely Bradley Cooper singing Shallow with Lady Gaga. Ironically, it was also written by Mark Ronson, who wrote this and was playing bass in this performance.

I’m Just Ken May not have won for Best Original Song, but they all did won our hearts though (Congrats to Billie and Finneas though). “What Was I Made For?” was a sad and depressing song I ever heard. I love the live version better because it has a different key than a sad & very depressing studio version. Billie is such an angel. The way she sang it ❤😢

Damn right that this rocks. Not only are Ryan and Slash killing it, but anyone who has something to say about the pink suit should look back at Axl's hair. Or any Prince outfit. The coolest men in rock history dressed however they wanted, and they weren't afraid of people questioning them.

i am completely infatuated with the song and the amazing performance ever since Oscar night. i watch it every day :-). so bummed it did not win. so sick of brittle voice girl performances!
