It’s kind of ironic that out of all the leading young actors in this film the one that made it the furthest (career wise) is one that had one of the smallest roles in the film

Yeah but compared to Gosling. The only actor in this movie that is on his level is Denziel Washington.

@@ethanharmer5151 you are so incredibly wrong here do me a favor or do yourself a favor since you're the ass in the situation he doesn't know what they're talkin about look up the IMDb cast credit for a bunch of these actors get the fuck out of here with that Ryan Gosling shit is famous because he's pretty and he's done a few good movies there are other actors in here who you think are lesser who have three times the accomplishments of Ryan Gosling it's just that he's in those movies that make the award that get him the title not him himself his most wide-ranging character fucking Ark is the movie Drive that's about it Blade Runner didn't have enough for him to catapult even further fuck Will Patton alone has more notoriety then fucking Ryan Gosling even if Hayden tent to rent in there you have a Disney star in a Disney movie who was the musician for a little bit and a model Jama Sons of Anarchy actor in here which that was several Awards in fact he wants several awards for that show you also have to rain check about the caliber of actor just comparing a bunch of people is fucking nuts you'll never have an even matchup because you have different types of stars you different types of movies in this movie Denzel Washington always plays a character with a compromised morality or a very flawed sense of authority Ryan Gosling always plays a silent individual with a piercing stare with good looks with a dark undertone story he likes to stick in that he's a kid outside of that a few times he's gotten a couple of awards some head nods but nothing to make sure that we forget about in a year

@@wellthen.......9384 What about Half Nelson, The Place Beyond the Pines, Lars and the Real Girl, and Blue Valentine. Gosling has great range and has 2 oscar nominations, 5 Golden Globe nominations, 4 SAG nominations and more. Besides, he's taken several breaks from acting ever since he became a dad.

An actor who followed the career over the money. People rave on about his looks, but the thing that defines him is his passion. He's turned down countless roles that would've made him millions. Not that he isn't making millions now, but comparing the salaries for films he's done versus films he's turned down would have to be pretty significant. I was so surprised when he joined Bladerunner 2049. I realised this is like the second big studio film he's done in his career.

The only kids with real speaking parts in the film who were actual teenagers were Ryan Gosling and Cate Bosworth. This clip is from the movie, but in the movie it is the boys singing and not the girls who actually recorded the movie. The part where Ryan Gosling is dancing he is also singing.
