I've seen this movie so many times because it is my favorite one, and just now I noticed something... Earlier in the movie, on Sunshine's first training session, he was having a hard time making a 3-yd pitch in a veer play. "You can throw it a mile but can't make a 3-yd pitch" Boone said to him, and asked Rev to show him how to do it. Fast-forward to this scene... Rev's out, injured. Ronnie comes in, makes a statement after that hit... and what is the very next play in the sequence? A perfectly executed veer pitch... and then, in the locker room, Ronnie thanks Rev for teaching him the play. What a detail!

On his first snap! Sunshine goes dark, and gets right to the root of the trouble coming from the other side. Ha ha, kid had a plan! I also like Coach Boone's use of the label "Colonel" for Ronnie, the rank of his father who presented himself and his family's values very well when they first met. That obviously left a positive and welcomed impression on Boone's decision to take Ronnie on...that and the big arm, but still, the family wasn't closed-minded.

Nick Foles told his Eagles teammates the same thing after Wentz went down..."what's the matter, haven't you ever seen a football injury before you wimps?Let's go. Show some life in those legs. I got it. It's gonna be all right."

Last night our qb got ejected because he got faced masked and slammed to the ground and he slapped him on the side of his helmet and the ref didnt even give an exampltion why, we were 2-0 in the district trying to get to the playoffs and he’s the best player on our team too so we lost that game and he doesn’t come back until the last game which is his last ever game if we don’t make it bc he’s a senior
