People like making comparisons I've seen many people compare his playing style to so many great footballers, tbh he does have traits from from more than one midfielder which makes him unique

He was dominating in the dutch league and then went to Bayern and had no time to settle which left him unsettled the whole seaso. Then he went to Liverpool in the EPL which is tougher than the dutch and german league where he had flashes. Now he is settled and realises he has to work his socks off and be mentally as physically ready all the time. It's like when you dominate in your age group then get moved up and have to adapt to a faster and more physical game. Some sink some swim

It's more demanding in the PL, so for Gravenberch to actually reach the same level in the two countries is an indication that he has undoubtedly progressed.

Tchouameni chose RM. Gravenberch chose Bayern, to his eventual regret. Looking at his highlight reels, the only mystery is why Liverpool ever bothered to offer one more shilling than 40M for Lavia, when Gravenberch was apparently available for about 40M.
