I hope the DID representation is good. Hopefully based on real cases. kzbin.info/door/6kFD5xIFvWyLlytv5pTR1w Also, I hope the narrative really uses it to its full potential with things like: • Alters being completely different. • Questions of who you are. • The host becoming not the host and leaving to the inner world (which happens in some DID systems and generally). • Powerful Persecutor alters with more control than the host. • Alters bitter due to past trauma, making their personalities very dark, menacing, and brooding, even if not evil. • Non-human alters thinking humans are weird. • The inner world being extremely complex. • Someone realising they are actually a fictive of themselves and thus not the original personality. As in they are a fantasy version the original made of themselves.

I don't see what else the show could really do for a satisfying conclusion. They are too close to each other to be happy about their number 1 companion slot being threatened by anyone they are genuinely in true love with. So much even the one in the relationship will not be happy having to spend less time with their best friend due to romantic 🌹 activities. Plus, Eddie is clearly aromantic 🚫🌹 so would only be able to form a loving relationship with a friend. Which really limits his options for an endgame couple. I guess they could just have them both be perpetually single. That's the only other real option which would not be out of character or annoying to watch.
