I hsve experience with low cut turf, i have a 1,200 square foot green i built and baby likes it my child, but i seeded a ryegrass and kbg mix around the green that im cutting at 5/8ths as a fairway. Makes it extremely tempting to do all 20,000 square feet in the short cut. It absolutely looks stunning, particularly up against the bentgrass thats at 1/8". Love these videos.

@halbertandrew4 жыл бұрын
no love from connor :(
@lawnrebel4 жыл бұрын
Not so much for me because where I live it really does not get that hot and in about 2 weeks my temps will be trending downward. My season is very short and in the dead of summer it is really only low 80s. For the average guy, I'd wait until about August 10 ish to seed Kentucky bluegrass. You can also seed anytime as long as you keep it moist but not soaked.

And your reelmaster is a side winder too...cool! I just noticed it... Did you buy it new? 9:10 if you put another person on that triplex to mow, his first few stripes will be fine then all of a sudden he will be off because he overlaps more. I never could stay 100% when I mowed fairways, unless I was the only person mowing that hole. Just switching machines can change it too.

Stripes looking good. Lawn looking like it needs a feed and a good soaking. You need to put some small boulders at the edge of the road. I have had that Eley hose reel for 12 years. It looks the same today as when I got it. I've never had to fix it or replace a part. There have even been years where I forgot to empty it before winter and it's held up like a champ.
