Exactly what happens in the UK you get a chance to cut the lawn you have to take it as you never know when it will stop raining. Grass seed I’ve sown to replace some weedy grass has only just germinated 1 month since sown. Even with the patches when cut your lawn is the best on KZbin, the colour, the scenery and the stripes.

Connor if you want to kill that tree skin the outside of the bark all the way around each of the rise is coming out of the ground. The nutrients are carried up the tree just underneath the bark so if you score all of them and removed the bark out 6 inch ring wide this tree will die. I usually do this when someone wants a tree gone I do it in the fall and by next summer there's no leaves the tree comes down less work

Do golf courses have these problems? As fast as you can make grass grow and how good you can make it look, how come you have these brown patches? Can you just scrape it with a rack throw down some seed and stay off it for a bit and the grass will grow? Is it a water issue where you are drowning it? Ps just a curious viewer not being rude or mean. I love the videos

@@lawnrebel shucks that’s too bad. I remember when you had it looking dressed and really coming along. If you apply pre emergent with poa control you can prevent poa annua and poa trivialis, before renovating I would spot spray the problem grasses and add compost to these areas before aeration and seeding, building a mature thick stand of turf is the ultimate goal and will be your best bet long term with out competing these grasses, if you start again from scratch your setting it back another two years of building mature turf and the pre emergent can be done 1 month after seeding I would do two treatments about 3 weeks apart and you won’t have nearly as much of a problem , poa annua will always come into compacted edges this is the ideal environment and blue grass doesn’t like shallow compacted soil. I have 12 years experience treating lawns for a living I work for a large local company in my area of VA, we grow fescue , bluegrass , zoysia and Bermuda , sometimes even see centipede and St Augustine majority is tall fescue
@seankelly89022 жыл бұрын
We have our own patented grass seed blend that’s 97% turf type tall fescue and 3 % Kentucky blue grass for the benefit of better color and spreading via rhizomes

Picloram is Restricted Use and not easy for a DIY to buy. Triclopyr based brush killer (2,4-d ester) mixed in diesel fuel works pretty good to soak the bark a foot above ground, just read about a basal treatment in the label instructions.
