Hi, thank you for posting, it is a fine score. May I ask you what you did about the violins to sound like 12 violins. Do you just score for one violin and increase the sound in the fx to make it sound like multiple instruments?

I'm not sure I understand. The audio in the recording is not a 100% direct mockup to the score. I had to make some changes when orchestrating to make it playable by the orchestra that would play it should I win the competition. The strings are just Cinematic Studio Strings and the section sizes are the following: 12 Violin I, 8 Violin II, 7 Viola, 7 Cello, 6 Bass

Also, that is not quite how things work. Turning up the volume on a single violin would just sound like a loud violin.

@@IsaacWarrenMusic Thanks, I understand. That is reasonable. So what do you do in MuseScore 4 if you have to score for 6 first violins that all play unisono? I actually never had this challenge before :(

@@JanCarlComposer I did not use musescore at all in this video. I created this all in Reaper using professional libraries. The final submission however I did use musescore I hated the sound of it so I didnt upload it publicly

This is gorgeous! Can I be a bit of a prick and just say that the connection with the african themed artwork only first hits at about 55 seconds?
