I like how Ryan explained how he “scratched his own itch” with a better way to manage intimate business relationships and ended up creating superphone. What was key for me was him explaining the unknown threat of email and text. The implied familiarity with known people out text with vs random people you give your email to. How Ryan explained the scalability of Amazon and facebook and how to use that same technology to create and use for a direct to consumer relationship with your tribe/fans was golden. Around @50:45 he started talking about the enterprise clients using superphone from fashion to music. One of the many lessons learned was scratch your own itch...test it on yourself...gather data...improve...patience (6-7 in superphone a case)...network (warm intro from people you engage with) and continue to model and forecast on future needs and problems based on comparable technology (I.e. email file management vs text file management..it’s coming). Hey thanks earn your leisure for this podcast. First saw Ryan in Heidelberg, Germany around 2013 when he gave everyone his number to text him. The crowd went crazy. The "PHONE IS LISTENING" thing happens to me all of the time. I was in the store TODAY, the lady in front of me was trying to help the man in front of her count, because he didn't speak English, she spoke Spanish but HE spoke Portuguese. She turns to me with a smile and says " I was trying to help but he speaks Portuguese". I get in my car to play my music on my phone and a vacation ad to Portugal pops up.

The data and information from what you look up or have interest in when searching is transferred/provided across email, clouds, social platforms, etc. when you signed the user agreement clauses without reading them.
