This video is so powerful - not specifically for the music he has made (which has impacted so many in its own right) but rather this video exemplifies when someone is fully invested in what they are doing where passion meets expertise and talent and how something, an idea goes from this little thing in his mind to this grandiose expression of art that touched so many people. Also the way he sees his and visualises his dream of having the orchestra play the track out. When you are in your freedom, in the moment and fully invested and undistracted we mimic God’s power to create and this is where Great things come from. If you are a creator or dream of doing something don’t let anything take you away from that special place in which you dream and become excited for it. that is your power… He says at the end “they try to put me in a box… it’s impossible!!” Let that be a mantra for us to do great things

Yeeeah, I'm down with the song, but let's not get crazy. I actually feel like his obvious arrogance takes away from it for me - sure, it's a cool song with some interesting layers and counter-melodies, but it's not revolutionary; it's still a stock pop/R&B song. The lyrics are unoriginal and uninteresting, though it's still catchy. But "Black Mozart"? Pffft. Get the fuck outta here. I like the song, but he's making himself appear way too inauthentic in the process. As someone who worked in the music industry for 15 years, NO ONE dresses and acts this way in the studio. The staging and self-aggrandizing he does makes the whole thing utterly inorganic, such that it makes me want to stop listening in order to check his ego - an interruption to a song I OTHERWISE ENJOYED. All the ego surrounding this production just took me out of a space of enjoyment and into one of scrutiny. Will I listen to the song again? Probably. Will I buy the record? Probably not - if you have the cockiness to title your record "Black Mozart", I expect to then own something which is revolutionary to modern music, or at least music as I understand it; not a stock pop/R&B record. He's a talented guy, but there are no Mozarts here.
