When I discovered Ryan Leslie in 2006 it literally put all the pieces together for me. I started playing guitar because of Hendrix, Prince made me learn to produce and play other instruments and gave me the permission to become an artist. But Ryan Leslie was a brotha I saw on the internet in real time doing amazing things. His music is still ahead of its time and this song is still amazing in 2024. Im forever grateful for Ryan Leslie.
