People seem to forget that Jordan love had four years to learn the offense and sit behind one of the best that ever played… Justin Fields came into a difficult situation they had to rebuild a team, after starting out with a head coach that wasn’t very good at keeping him safe… Now he’s finally hitting his stride now he’s getting better at pocket passing and now he’s making some incredible plays with his legs and his arm so starting over again is that the right move? There's no way that GM Poles trades Fields. And a trade down from #1 will bring the Bears a boatload of draft picks spread over 3 years just like last year's trade down did! GM Poles wants to build this team mainly through the draft, but will also have in the neighborhood of $80 Million to spend in free agency. My bet is that the Bears will draft a QB somewhere between the 3rd & 4th Rounds and will sign a solid backup in free agency. Fields will remain the QB1 & these two new QBs will compete with Bagent for the QB2 position.

The Bears actually picked up more than what you listed: DJ Moore; 2023 1st & 2nd Round Picls; 2024 1st Round pick & 2025 1st Round Pick. And with a trade down with the 2024 #1 Pick (via the trade with the Panthers), the Bears are projected to receive 6 to 8 draft picks spread over the 2024, 2025 & 2026 NFL Drafts... which will include !st Round Picks in 2024, 2025 & 2026. And let's not forget that the Bears also have the #9 Pick in the upcoming draft. Under the guidance of GM Poles, the future for the Chicago Bears is brighter than any time since 1985!! p.s. Based on GM Poles history, the Bears will absolutely be trading down with the #1 Pick in order to bring in a boatload of additional draft picks! Plus, the Bears have the #9 Pick. In addition the Bears will have between $70 to $80 Million in Salary Cap Money that they will use to extend contracts & bring in a pack of free agents. As GM Poles pointed out: he, the coaching staff & regional scouts have a ton of work in front of them. I love that Bears fans share their thoughts on the players they would like to see added to the roster & the players & coaches that should be sent packing. However, we fans don't have all the data & experience that is necessary to develop the Bears off season roster improvement plan. As I mentioned, GM Poles, Coach Eberflus, the Assistant Coaches & the regional scouts will be analyzing & determining the team's most pressing needs as well as their plans to meet those needs via the draft & free agency. That's why trading down for a boatload of picks that stretches over three years will be a much better deal... even if only a portion of those guys make an impact (30% of position guys outside of QBs end up productive NFL players).

Justin is our guy, period! I know the majority of Bear fans want to see Marvin Harris Jr. be drafted first. But my philosophy is to address the protection. The offensive line is the biggest issue and the most important issue that needs to be fixed. We don't only need a Center, we need a Right and Left Guard. Tevin Jenkins hasn't been healthy since year one. Eric Davis isn't what we thought he would be. And we all know the Lucas Patrick is at best a backup Center. In my opinion, Poles should trade down and draft 2 Offensive Linemen in the first round. If we have a dominate Offensive Line, it wouldn't matter who's the QB because he'll have all the time in the world to throw the ball AND it would help open holes for our RBs as well. Solves two issues by fixing the O-Line. I really like Marvin Harris Jr., but there are a lot of other WRs that are just as talented, if not, better than MHJ.( Xavier Legette, SC, Malik Nabers, LSU, Keon Coleman, FSU, who all play in the SEC. TE will also need to be addressed (Brock Bowers) but not as critical as O-line. And don't forget, free agency will have a lot of players that can address some of these needs as well. Its hard to find good talented young Offensive Linemen nowadays. So don't be so sold on drafting one particular player and think it'll solve all of our problems. Prioritize the needs and we'll be much better and more competitive next season. IN POLES WE TRUST. BEAR DOWN!!!

The first ever NFL team I'd been introduced to is the Chicago Bears at age 5 Jared and I are born in the same week. Anyway my favorite sports team in all of sports is the Chicago Bears. I love Da Bears! That being said it's obvious Poles didn't draft Justin Fields I have to say it's time to pull the plug. I did my best to keep from crying after Justin missed Kole in the end zone while he'd made the play to get open. Quarterbacks make the receivers look better not the other way around. We all know we saw that as a sure TD from an elite talent. But as the story and the films shows is the ball is too late and knocked away. Similarities to a lot of other knocked down balls Fields has thrown. Say Justin Fields is okay with being traded to ATL for a first round pick. Ryan Poles has to look at everything if you could get the number eight pick for Justin Fields...... He's okay with being back in Georgia. Poles you have to pull the trigger and draft Caleb Williams. Keep it super simple 9th pick if you could get Alt or Olu or if their not on the board Bowers or one of the top 3 receivers in the draft fall. I've listened to the interviews with Braxton Jones and if Poles ask him to move over to left guard he wouldn't complain about it. If he asked Tevin Jenkins to move back over to right guard he'd be cool with it also. There is still a huge whole to fill in at center. This is 2024 it's a Quarterbacks league. Your in position as GM of a fortune 500 to increase in consumer interest. You stick to your word the offense line is on the way to elite if you Poles stick to your guns. And pull the trigger get your guy Caleb Williams and make sure he's well protected by an elite offense line. New slate and freaking genius. Peace out

There was no problem. Anyone who understands football understands the process. Getsy isn’t the guy, and lacks the detail as they enter their competitive window next year. It’s always been about year 3. Doesn’t mean Justin is Safe, and he shouldn’t be. There are in fact better QB options. Like Poles stated, you have to remove emotion. We all love Justin. There are simply just better, more sustainable QB options to lead the team into this championship window. My pick would be a Vet, Kirk Cousins for 2-3 years paired with great receivers, then use a first rounder on Jayden Daniels to be groomed over time.
