He's really hard to read and he expects you to anticipate his next move but at the same time he intentionally tries to make you feel like you did something wrong and if he's mad, instead of telling you he incinuates to other people so they take it out on you and all the while he's being nice but he's really mad! It's a nightmare!

I think Ryan is a good, kind man. Clearly adores his family…parents, sister and niece…and that family includes Kelly, Mark and their children. He and Kelly were good together and really liked each other..to him Kelly was another sister. He’s just ready for something different now and I’m sure we’ll still see him in the public eye. I welcome Mark and no question he’s liked so much as he’s been on the show frequently. Kelly and Mark are devoted to each other and their children and families. And that includes Ryan…full circle for them all. I think each of them would be a best friend. ❤️❤️❤️

I'll be honest when they chose Ryan I was not for it because I felt he was boring and, like you said, not quick on his feet like Kelly is, or his predecessors were. But clearly the show did not miss out because it's consistently been in the top 10 in daytime the entire time Ryan was there. So clearly, he provided stability to a show that was unstable before he came along. Good for him. It'll be interesting to see if Mark can keep up that pace.

Love Ryan, and altho I feel that Mark was the Best and most logical choice to be the new co-host, Ryan will be missed. Ryan's not only easy on the eyes but just made the mornings easy and laid back with his chill, cute, and optimistic attitude. And so.. a great way to start off the day! Loved this send-off. Done with honour and respect. He let Kelly/Network know a YEAR in advance - and kept up the level of energy he brought to the show to the very last minute. Unlike he-who-shall-not-be-named. For anyone who thinks that it wasn't entirely his fault - there is no earthy reason he couldn't have told Kelly even privately - because a move like that (where they are making space for him at the other end) takes time. Time to put out feelers at other venues, time for the interview process to occur, time . . . and he could have told Kelly that he was at least contemplating moving on. But he said NOTHING - and snuck out the back door. I have absolutely zero respect for him - and stopped watching GMA the minute he was on board. Ryan was a full participant - not a bystander - even when things got pretty ludicrous, he was totally game for whatever was going on. He'll be missed, for sure. But he's left in a very classy way - with respect and honour. I wish him well . . .

Ryan was to Kelly what she had been to Regis. Although I'm not a big watcher or fan of the show and I thought Ryan was a safe and boring selection, I like that it gave a women/Kelly the chance to really lead and shine.

Thoughts on the farewell 🤔 to be honest, #1 Ryan did his own invitations to a private staff farewell party which was a testament to him 👏 #2 the sardine cake, I know it wasn’t real Sardines but I didn’t like the cake choice #3 the gifts were “throw aways” for the network, they had to do something with them, so it wasn’t a meaningful gift (the golf bag was great! They should’ve aired that). I’m excited for the new chapter: Kelly & Mark 🎉

Regis was around 80 years old and he was showing cognitive issues on-air. Despite their incredible chemistry, I guess there was issues between her and Michael. Then Ryan had a 5 year contract. He stayed an extra year beyond that. It's incredible he kept up that bi-coastal weekly work schedule for as long as he did. Men leave jobs. Don't blame it on their female co-worker.

Awww, I'm sure they'll still see each other outside of this, although I'm sure Ryan is probably moving back to California, but there's plenty of chances for Ryan to come back to New York for different things, like when he hosts the New Years gig and other things, or just come for a visit. 😊
