When you say things that will upset a subset of the voters then that's a good way of kissing goodbye to winning your Oscar or any Oscar. Any lost vote will ultimately affect every category. I hope the Academy voters can see past the nonsense and just focus on the performances. Emilia Perez is a phenomenal movie.
