@TazziBosco omg, lol, me too man me too. The kids have gotten so good over the past 3 months, the future will be bright for sure. I'm still so bummed that # 6 got away from us 4 years ago. If we had Roli we would have had it, but hey, I see a Flames franchise in HUGE trouble, a Detroit team getting VERY old, a Canuck franchise with an allstar goalie, who doubts himself after one loss usually in the post season, and a SJ sharks team with money players who aren't playing. We will do it!!

@TazziBosco the biggest obstacle for the Kings this year, is Detroit, and Vancouver (assuming that somehow Louongo does not fail like he always does.) I am excited now that the Kings have Sturm, a proven consistent 20 goal scorer, who is hard on the puck. He was great in SJ many years ago, and I hope he passes that physical and really helps out that 3rd line. I'd expect to see the Kings in the Cup finals withing the next 3-4 years.

@doaqiskool i think he'll make good on that promise. I think L.A has a legitimate shot at it this year. Ryan Smyth makes the Kings a better team, it would be nice to see them win the cup too, because they have always been one of my fav teams, EDM is home tho, they're my fav. lets watch him do it 2010-2011!!

As lifelong Oilers fan it was a tragedy that Smyth was traded away, but if you look at the history of the franchise they always trade away their best players. Kinda sucks, but when Gretzky was traded (even Coffey earlier) it just proved that no player is safe from moving on.

@XIPH0S707 3-4years I'm hoping to see the cup come back to Edmonton, where it belongs! haha But as far as the Kings, Luongo will probably crumble...as always haha

@XIPH0S707 not realistic at all for 10/11 season but if we take the next few years to learn and build our team, we're gonna be a dynasty again in no time!

@ExtraSago wouldn't agree they are NOTHING but I agree Smyth (and Smith for that matter) were the heart and soul.

I love Smyth, he has much passion for the game. Definetly the hardest working player in the NHL. We'll all miss him in Edmonton, but hope he does well with Colarado in the playoffs. I wish them luck.
