Giving Oreilly a Huge wage increase could cause unrest. That is why its like a cap of 30k. If Oreilly gets it, McGregor might moan he should get more being captain & then likes of CCV. We've 2 CBs that are better than Scales and don't get a sniff at regular game time. Both pair didn't concede a goal against them pairing with each other I'm sure. We need a striker & LB that's about it. Otherwise it's just a revoling door that if you don't break into a team then try next window. Try and try again till it sticks. Sounds like one club, doesn't it. GK is sorted. Could have a better back up RB. CB is covered really. LB urgently needed. Wingers are covered with about 6 wingers. CMs are covered with about 4 in thar position, maybe just need a better back up CAM if Oreilly stays or goes & a back up ST. A good European run can be done with better balance & coaching throughout. They cunts got to a final with about 6 freebies and about 2/3 players under 4M

Have to say as a Hearts fan I agree with you about Aberdeen. I go into every season thinking 3rd place is between ourselves and them. Hibs should also be up there but I will never say (mainly because it’ll never happen) they will finish above us. But I think it’s more likely we will catch up to Rangers in the next 2-3 years than it is for Aberdeen to catch us. P.S keep up the good content, been watching since 2017 and it’s crazy to see the growth.

No apology needed mate judging on today's performance you could be spot on mate. However having said that apart from today we've looked decent in spells. Obviously there's a plethora of new players we've added to the squad and it's not always easy to tell early on how these guys are going to settle. The main concern at the minute is we don't seem to have replaced the creative spark of Blair Spittal and it remains to be seen if we've replaced the goal scoring exploits of Theo Bair. However this week we're going to announce the signing of Apostolos Stamatelopolous from Newcastle Jets. He scored 17 goals in 21 appearances for the Jets last season and I'm hoping he's the answer to our problems Once we get him in if we can add a creative midfielder to go with signings we've already made I think we could be comfortable. All the best for the season ahead mate

I think you’ve summed it up well Ryan & very fairly. Celtic’s transfer window so far has been shocking, but we might get away with it because as you say, Rangers are in a mess & I actually think Clement may have problems in the dressing room. Everything is stacked against Rangers & it wouldn’t surprise me to see another manager at Ibrox before the end of the season .

Interesting take. Be curious what you think once the window is up. I agree Celtic will absolutely walk the league. I wonder about the cups. I think some teams have shown there's real competetive spirit. Even St Mirren. I know they are out against Brann, but they showed in their European matches they can hang on under pressure and not get trounced. A lucky break could be an upset in a domestic match.

The reality of it was. Last season Rangers won a cup just because Celtic weren’t in it. They managed to get into the title race due to Celtic dropping points. Games that came between Celtic and Rangers and when Celtic had a fully strong squad they simply couldn’t compete. Clement like last season will crack under the pressure whereas Rodgers will thrive under it.

Hibs should be finishing 3rd or 4th every season - significantly bigger than Killie, Aberdeen and St Mirren. Mediocrity just accepted by too many of our fans, but there is also a blatant anti-hibs bias within the SFA. We had over 30 points stolen last season.
