I think ur starting issues is with the low pressure oil pump located behind the harmonic balancer... also I'm not sure if u did the high pressure oil pump but in my opinion u should if not done yet

I commented the problem with the trans on the Cummins video. Governor pressure solenoid and transducer is the issue with it starting in the wrong gear. Got parts off XDP and solved my problem. The oem parts are made cheap and plastic so they’re known to break

For the ram I would say keep it low and make it fast. Maybe not 1000hp fast go for around 800hp and just clean it up and make it look good.

Completely different truck but I have a 97 12 valve that can't get out of it's own way and my throttle response isn't really there. 235k mile motor but after watching this I gotta look into that. I was thinking a pedal monster like you've installed before but I feel the cheaper route would be best to do first.

V10 don’t have issues🤣🤣 mine had 280k before selling and replaced nothing put plug and coils my grandfather has one with 300k also no motor issues except plugs coils and a water pump

Yeah that stock deadhead fuel system on the 7.3s and 6.0s is real dog shit but you can also look into re-shiming the poppit valves from .004 to .003 clearance. Most likely those are probably split shot injectors (pilot injection) and hopefully if they are, whoever installed them knew cylinder 8 doesn't get same type injector as other 7 due to last in line to get fuel
