Get it Ryan. Awesome to see! Super easy to do all that stuff once you know how. In my 2014 Express I did the radio swap, interior swap with center console and dashboard, power mirrors, auto dim/auto high beam rear view mirror, push start passive entry, sliding rear window, and speedometer. Some Modules need to be swapped for some and wire harnesses built. Added all my sales codes with the handy android app!. God bless the ramforum for the knowledge.

I love the content! Inspired me to do own build. Already did the 6 inch zone lift on my 2016 ecodiesel and like you said in the video before this, it was a booger bear! I've got headlights and grille to put in, just waiting on the front bumper to get here. I knew you were gonna go laramie on the banana but didn't see the longhorn coming, gonna be fire!

the body control module stores the mileage in it. so once you plug in the new used cluster it will read the mileage that was already there. no need to have it reprogrammed.

The dash is a giant shell. Can’t replace just the grey part. It’s actually really easy, just a lot of little screws. The main body cab harness is in the shape of an “H” you’ll have to pull the carpet completely out. Just did that with mine recently.

@@tomgatti1216 just remember the 1,2 sequence 1,2-1,2 clutch shift clutch shift you’re pressing the clutch in less then half way when doing so. The more you do it it becomes muscle memory. And also shifting between 10-13 hundred rpm. That’s the key.

Do the black vinyl between the windows on the cab and find the right tail lights for it too. As far as the cluster, the digital speedo could of been on km which can be changed in the settings on the cluster

It funny how every truck dealer adds 10-$15,000 to get a longhorn edition but your doing it for about $6,000.

He's probably got $5-6k in parts already sitting there now but you are forgetting the other things necessary to go from a factory Tradesman to Longhorn like rear taillights, the cost difference in his grille vs. the proper factory one, the right front/rear bumpers + all park assist sensors, different rear view mirror with sensors for the automatic wipers, the dash pieces he hasn't got yet, the different headliner and matching pillars, not to mention the upgraded stereo you'd get, the wheels you'd get as well etc. etc. He'll be lucky to do a passable swap for $10k with the trade off of worn/damaged parts and counting his labor as free. It's a good exercise and fresh content in showing that you can basically do anything to a Ram thanks to AlfaOBD but it's not cost effective to go this far vs. finding a higher mileage trim and focusing on the mechanicals he always replaces anyway.

You should paint match the inside door handles yellow and do some more highlight so you have chrome and yellow on outside as well as on the inside, just my opinion, it might be cool.

I upgraded my f150 stx to a Harley edition. Just like your doing I literally did everything. I caught some slack about putting badges on the truck but as son as people realized that it literally had everything then it silenced the haters. The only thing was people couldn’t understand why I didn’t just buy a Harley instead of putting all the money into salvaged parts. Honestly patience and a friend that owns a salvage yard made it very inexpensive. Cudos to you man. I love seeing someone do something I’ve done before and loved that truck

This is the exact interior I bought for my 1500 ram express, but I ran into some issues like getting the lights on door panels plugged in and getting the steering wheel buttons to work haven’t tried the seats or anything but might try again if I learn something from your journey!!! Or if can send some tips???

Run your compressor relay to an authorized switch, so you can control when it runs. I have mine on a upfitter switch in the old powestroke, so I can control when I want the compressor running
