22:15 a thing I often forget is that if your gunner is out, but the commander is still alive, you can switch to your commander sights and still shoot. Could’ve worked in this situation.

that's a good trick that works, however in this situation both the gunner and commander were killed

@@martras2237 there were 2 crew left. you can see, how the commander takes like 2 seconds to get is commander sight ready in the circle. Otherwise the second circle around the „gunners circle“ wouldn’t have appeared.

@@hansiminator69 no that is a bug that the game has. If the commander dies, then the commander override doesnt work (because yknow, you need an alive commander for commander override). Notice how ryans mouse was still aimed away from where the barrel was aimed when the shorter circle finished. The 2 crew that were still alive were the driver and loader. Once the longer circle finished completing then you would actually see the barrel move to his mouse aim point as the loader would have taken the gunners seat.

minor post game analysis from what i could see from the video 5:43 this guy in the IPM1 was firing only HEAT, judged from the impact sounds and explosion effects and partially from him only firing at your tracks 15:25 this guy I think blew his barrel and was on damaged from trading shots with the Sep, could be wrong but explains why no impact sounds or hit against ground nearby nothing to take away from it I just saw it and thought it was interesting. If it were me in those games I'd be curious to push and find out if my hypothesis was correct /s or get clapped trying to do the same edit the leopard probably just missed also 26:43 LMAO that's perfect

As someone who owns the 2a7 for germany, and the 122b+ for sweden - I can wholeheartedly say the 2a7 is better. The b+ on paper may say a better top speed, but I swear, it feels heavier and slower.. maybe top speed over a flat it may hit 68, but acceleration/power to weight it is slower. It's more of a brawler than the 2a7, and the 2a7 is better at open maps. People say the rounds at top tier don't make much difference, I feel a difference between the sloppy 95s and the dm53s, which the latter feeling like they just kill things easier. I've honestly stopped playing sweden top tier, it has a solid line up as I have the gripen aswell but man, it's constantly paired with usa against germany/russia and you get fingered. The 3rd gen thermals on the 2a7 is a God send, some may argue they aren't essential but in gen1 you sometimes can't tell if something is dead or not and that hesitation gets you killed. Arguably they should all get atleast gen2, as russian bias has it since 10.0! Just my feelings on it 😅

I agree with the one big Achiles heel of all the Strv 122 being their thermals. Gen 1 really really sucks. You can pick up heat in the distance but it's a blob of pixels and more often than not I avoid using it unless I'm scanning a ridgeline or something. Gen 3 is disgusting good in comparison. That being said their survivability and sheer number of variants in the lineup make up for it ^^

You could argue that the normal 2A7V is better then the 2A7HU due to it lacking the He weakspot with the unmanned .50 If only the Leos 2A7s were displayed correctly in game (70kmh+ speed 3 second reload wich TOTALLY wouldnt break the game and dm 73)

Honestly I prefer the Ariete amv over this, the thermals on the amv are equal to 2a7hu but the leopard is so slow and in city areas just bogs down, the change in firepower is minimal and doesn’t really matter, and the main thing is that the 2a7hu has a terrible commanders optic and the amv has a great commanders optic that I use a lot, that’s why I like the amv better, and people say the amv is bad, it might be a little overtired but it’s so quick, has good optics, great firepower, spall liners now, and the only thing it misses is just armor which is debatable how much it effects gameplay

14700K 4080 Super 32GB DDR5 1TB Gen 5x4 M.2 SSD 4K monitor (using 5K DLDSR for rendering) Max settings on everything, TAA, no DLSS or SSAA For color, a few settings with NVIDIA Overlay (check my Discord server) And I record on a separate PC, so War Thunder has more system resources available.
