Its nod a bad thing when you do not read what you shoud, because you serve the community :) thank you However, I want to make some time stamps where the phrases start. I think they are very practical whyle practiceing: PART ONE First phrase starts at 1:55 Second phrase starts at 2:30 (Play again the first Phrase) Last phrase starts at 4:02 PART TWO First Phrase starts at 6:06 Second phrase starts at 7:11 Third phrase starts at 8:28 Finish starts at 9:00

Awesome as always. If you're looking for more reasons to procrastinate, a tutorial for the musical priest would be pretty fitting for this channel, I think.

I wanna hear you play "The skylark" sometime or even a lesson would be awesome if you are up for it.

It's not a typical Irish tune and we don't play it in sessions in Ireland because of it's sad history. Being said it, has nice melodic lilt.

Hi there , where do you recommend me getting a real tin whistle from the US ? Cheers
@soslothful7 жыл бұрын
I have purchased excellent whistles form: Michael Bruke, Ronaldo Reyburn and Gary Humphrey. These are high end, hand crafted whistles. Excellent tone but expensive. Susato makes an acceptable mid price whistle.

I was just reading the comments section of this tune on The Session. The tune was lambasted as cliched and insulting to Irish heritage. A few suggest it should not be played in sessions. What do you think?
@RyanDunsSJ4 жыл бұрын
Sorry, I'm just seeing this. A tune is a tune...I've been subjected to some pretty deranged melodies over the years. Someone wrote it and it resonates with many people's imaginations, so I have no problem with it!

@@RyanDunsSJ Humm. I'd really like to know some of the deranged melodies!
