Speaking as someone much, much older than you (not necessarily wiser😂), I think your decision is a smart thing to do. If you have the means to travel and also can do what you love to do, definitely go for it! When I was younger, I had to go to work right out of highschool because I had to support myself. And spent many years working just to survive. So I hope you have a fantastic time traveling and enjoying yourself. Those 3 months will go by faster than you think, but you will always have the memories of the places you visited. So go for it, and have a blast! 😊

I went to high school and university in Japan, and I did almost the exact thing. Took some time off and traveled. It's the best experience. I hope you work things out and enjoy it. After I did all my travelling, i came back to Japan and started working.
