Do you duplicate this process for each attribute if you want to tie available perks and perk points to specific Attributes - like the Attribute/perk system in Fallout 4?? (This way Strength related perks are tied to the Strength attribute, endurance perks are tied to the endurance attributes, etc.)

Currently my plan was to have a attribute structure (and Skill structure) and have those added to the Perk Data Structure (Skill Data Structure in the video) so a certain perk might need 10 strength, or 2 intelligence or 50 in ranged weapons decided in the data table to be unlocked ect.

What if i wanted my "cost" to be multiple things? Instead of skills points, say.....25 gold and 2 skill points?

since you use a lot of variable and not define value in your many tutorials, it's a lot easier to integrate your code in our games i made a skill system ( data table and all) but did not impliment the tiers system, it's easy to add and the String map-> find -> add is a great plus for my system

How can this be set up with a Save Game Object so the unlocked skills and tiers get saved? Would it be sufficient to save the skill data struct?

At about 7:45, I can not continue. Granted, it's 3 years later and I'm working with Unreal 5.3.1, so things have likely changed. But I cannot add the component to the character BP (Third person in my case). Have you updated this knowledge at all? I'm going to go search through your videos ... Has been great so far.

I'm also using Unreal 5.3.1 and it worked on mine, the only doubt I'm trying and it's not working on mine is to activate the skill

It seems one has to create the component as "new blueprint class - actor component" from the beginning. If you do that you can add it to the actor blueprint as described in the video. I have no idea though yet if that has any downstream effects on the programming.
