Dude why didn’t you show what was all connected? Is that sound coming out of the amp? I have irig 2 and when go direct guitar to pc no amp it sounds like trash. I have the same amp, how was that connected to irig? It’s almost like every tutorial on this doesn’t show how to connect everything, not everyone’s done this before. The more information the better

Came here to say the same thing! Some many people just review Tonebridge but don't explain the connection setup.
@Meowth7418 күн бұрын
im 2 years late but basically, step 1: you connect your amp cable from ur guitar to one side of the irig. step 2: the irig connects to your device via the headphone jack (for tonebridge). step 3: you need another amp cable to connect the other side of the irig to your amp speaker. hopefully i didnt word it too complicated but yeah thats it.🎉🎉

The mini amp is great for portability, and not great for tone. It's not it's fault though, you just can't get excited about a 2 inch speaker. BUT, it's the only amp I'd consider bringing to the beach, so I give it a 10 for what it's intended for :)

If you click on the I (as info) you can see the whole FX/Amp chain and even the recommended guitar and which pickup to use (bridge vs neck). By clicking on edit you can fine tune each parameter like gain or volume for the amp and the reverb which was too much for Yellow Ledbetter.. ps for around 20 dollars you can get JamUp Pro (there is a free version as well). That has incredible sounds. Of course the iRig works perfectly for GarageBand too, so you can use the GarageBand amps or JamUp or Amplitube as plug in to record yourself, maybe with a drummer base. Perfect practicing tool.

10/2/19. Ryan, you said you wouldn’t record your “records” with the iRig2. Are you recording on vinyl? If so, why? Some bands claim that their music sounds better on vinyl, like all the instruments blend together better. Would you ever use horn or violin sounds from a keyboard on a recording to save money, or do you always have to have real instruments on your recordings?........ I’m Like #77..... 77 Sunset Strip! Snap Snap! Take care, Ryan.
@RyanLendt5 жыл бұрын
haha records was a generic term. The true way to record on vinyl is directly to vinyl like Jack White does at his third man record. Vinyl (and tape for that matter) has an infinity bit rate, which is why it's superior to digital means. I have ultra super high bit rate "mastered for vinyl" files of my finished songs, which I will put on vinyl when I reach the required amount of total minutes, but that's not true recording to vinyl - though even still better than an .mp3 I would never use sampled horn or violin sounds, but I have no trouble using sampled synth sounds, since those are electronic in nature anyway. I prefer using sampled drums because it's a real performance by a real drummer that I actually play with that is much easier to edit. maybe someday I'll record real drums with real mics, but that's what samples are anyway, but micing a drum set is hard for everyone. all fun things for future ponderings :)
