Hey Ryan. Been learning guitar for the last couple of years, and you've become my main man throughout that process. First song I learned was I Wanna Be Your Dog by Iggy Pop, and I've since noticed how many songs are derived from that chord progression...to the point where I'd have to say it's one of the most influential songs of all time. Marigold's no exception it seems. Might be a fun one to do sometime. Thanks for being the best guitar teacher a middle aged grunge addict could ask for. Keep up the good work my friend.✊

Off topic question. When you put your capo there, does is mess with your tuning at all? Mine squeezes E A and baby E ever so slightly.. I have an Ibanez tho, maybe the head is fatter than your Taylor. As always, great lesson dude!
@RyanLendt5 жыл бұрын
Nope, not the thalia capo anyhow... i have no experience putting other capos there. everyone i know who has a thalia capo keeps theirs there. You should treat yourself to one they are great :)

How do I make my guitar sound like yours, my guitar sounds like a bass with a deep sound idk how to describe. I'm using Dunlop 10 strings
@RyanLendt4 жыл бұрын
it would appear I'm playing elizabeth the taylor in this video. I use elixirs for the bright snappy "live stone gossard" tone I chase. Strings have a lot to do with acoustic guitar tone, but certainly not as much as the guitar itself - my only advice to you is try many many things out at the guitar store :)
@coolmelliwashere20704 жыл бұрын
Exactly, I will change my strings set then. Thank you mate, have a great one

@@RyanLendt so I searched through and I saw that snappy sounds is reached with light strings. I will put some Dunlop 10-48 and tell you the results. I'm currently using 11-52 Dunlop strings.
