I have tolerated Madden for a long time because I love the NFL. FOR the 1st time since I purchased a game, I stopped playing for a month. This game was so horrible. Most of my friends who are all die hards despite our issues with the game have played in amonth if not longer .

Borrowed this game from a friend. This has to be the worst Madden yet when it comes to the defense. No Matter what adjustments you make and who sign on. The defensive recognition to plays and the ball is trash. And I swear the players are more Clunky than ever.

That point about real world job stuff is key. If Clint worked as poorly at my job as he does here, he'd have been told to leave many years ago. In regards to the vibration setting not working, on cfb 25 I have my kicking settings to tap and tap and since the game has came out, they still havent fixed it because in H2H it will be tap and tap but no matter what, in dynasty it will always be hold and release. When I playnthe different modes I always forget the settings isnt functioning properly and messed up a boat loead of kicks.

Well,in NCAA 25 I just change the kick setting after the kickoff of every game. That's all people literally have to do.

Yup and I applaud you if you can remember to change that setting every single time and even more so if you can remember to change it after not playing for a day or 2. Some of us mere humans with regular memories tend to screw up a good chunk of kicks cause of this one stupid silly ass should not be a thing bug. Something like this shows just how broken and fail they are at coding a football game.

Kinda strange and weird plothole for a character that's seemingly pure of heart, but that buff blonde guy (who sounds like he smokes 3 packs a day) was too and he played it so I dunno what to think about either fight. I do know they did Weevil and Rex Raptor dirty though. Both duels kinda stunk. Would have been far more interesting if Tea or Tristan were to either duel Weevil/Rex or being turned by the Seal power and duel against Joey or Yugi. Or hey, maybe Weevil and Rex have to duel against them and be the good guys for once.

Clint posted the patch notes on X. Someone responded by asking about the Cover 4 Quarters and Palms box check. They asked Clint: Why are there still issues with the box check when it was added to the game in 2019? And are the issues finally fixed? Clint didn’t respond but it shows that people are fed up with the same things not working year after year.

It really makes me wonder how bad the frostbite engine is if every update has a long list of issues that need to be fixed. EA sports makes millions and millions from just the madden series and somehow can’t make a consistently competent product. I never once watched an nfl game and thought to myself that madden looks anything like what I see on tv. They really need to end the exclusivity so they can get more time to work on the game instead of being forced to release every year and put a fresh coat of paint on a dilapidated house.

I can’t speak for Madden, but the switch stick issue is in College Football 25 as well. For those that haven’t experienced it, the issue is if you change it to off, it’s always back on in every single game. Sometime you don’t realize it’s still on until you randomly switch to another player while playing Dline. It’s annoying as hell.

I played it and Imma be straight up with you. Is it fun ? yes . Does it play like Madden ? YES. Is it smoother than Madden gameplay wise ? Most definitely but those same issues are there. Is the blocking better ? Shiiiiiid HELL NAW. If I could show you the amount of times my offensive line didn't block or let a DLine go too early you wouldn't want to buy it 😂. I was playing as my RB for RTG and when I tell you going against Georgia and Alabama was hell IT WAS 😂. I had to try and turn into Lamar Jackson just to get out of the box but notice how I said "try" 👀😂. I deadass had gotten hurt a few times and couldn't finish the game because they were rocking my shit 😂. If I stayed in the game I still got my 100 or 200 yards though my RB was all red besides a leg and a finger 🤷😂. There are more issues but if you wanted to get one of them College football is better. Ppl have been saying that they enjoy Dynasty mode so if you're into that you should be fine. RTG ain't shit and is worse than Superstar mode. The rest idk because I refuse to touch it 😂. It's hella fast paced oh and um if you're a defensive type of person ju..... Just try to have fun 😂.

At this point, I'm not even mad at the company. Cause at the end of the day, they're going to do what they're permitted to get away with. For YEARS, EA has been allowed to get away with this shit and people in spite of all that has been consistently wrong with this game over the years...KEEP BUYING THIS WITHOUT FAIL. When your game has gotten so bad to the point where it makes games like 16 and 17 seem better mostly cause they don't stink to this degree...it's pretty bad. Yet EA isn't changing and we have no reason to believe this is going to improve anytime soon. I know this hasn't been made official yet, but I am reasonably certain this year's game will be the last for the PS4. Could they have gone out on a sadder note than this and if you do own a PS5 right now, what realistic reason do you have to think that this is going to get better when THIS MUCH IS WRONG NOW.

Hmm, I'm not sure how to take this, as a Cowboys fan, receivers running free in the game, seemed accurate, as they can't seem to stop anyone on D IRL. Lol, I don't play madden, just wanted to make a joke. You know, I wonder if EA knows about many of these problems, but it just takes forever to find the code to fix it, since they just keep building on top of previous codes. I think if EA was smart, they should take this year's game, work on it all year, fix all the bugs and issues and repackage it as Madden 26 with updated rosters. I bet if they did that and there were no issues or very minor issues, no one would be mad at that. Every year, it's like they try to reinvent the wheel, instead of building on and perfecting what they have. Can't they see that doesn't work, many games that have a series or a studio like From Software, have a core engine and gameplay and build upon that for the next game. Hell even in real football, coaches don't change their offensive/defensive scheme every year, they make tweaks and slight adjustments.

After this patch i see the all madden ai running formations according to best OVRs. Thats significant for me as a user play franchise guy. Still many little things to be worked out. But for me it's a good patch
