I just bought all pro football 2k8 and it still puts maddens gameplay to shame. Sideline catching animation makes sense, ability to turn upfield is realistic, qb got hit throwing the ball and ball wobbled in the air with both wr and db attempting to make a play on the ball unlike madden when u know if its a int, wr ran a route into the bench area and interacted with the sideline people, tackling animation's look pretty damn good. Its disgusting that a 07 game has better gameplay and like ive said countless times the ps2 maddens have double the features than the current gen.

I think some people are too hardcore about this game. I play a lot of Madden but mostly career and franchise mode and I gotta say that to me M20 is the best Madden of the last decade simply because they kinda solved one of my biggest problems with sports games which is making players unique. When I booted the game after getting it on sale last month and noticed how Khalil Mack completely changed the way I approached the game, it finally felt like I was playing against Khalil Mack and not a random model with his name and number. I understand and agree that it's still not good enough and that Madden should be better but if you ask me "From Madden 13 to 20 which one should I get?" To me it's a no brainer. M20 at least did something. I personally don't care about Madden as an eSport and to be honest I don't know how anyone could, since the game barely works well enough to be the stage of a competition. And for that reason I don't care if they put more RPG elements into it or completely break the balance of the game. I'm happy that that I have to adjust the side of a play or a block because a superstar edge rusher is unstoppable. Its what I always wanted from Madden.
