excellent info. I drive a small tinny vee . take on quarter when in chop. never knew the flat bottoms did well running side to. Im still skeptical on the sea worthiness of flat bottoms in general.

Cheers Ryan, appreciate the feedback. I have seen on the bonito owners facebook group that the front hatches are also a bit wet. I'm keen on a 5.6 CC, but doing a bit of research before I drop the coin.

Ahmed A yes they do and we have done significant modifications at a cost of several thousand and only reduced not eradicated the issue. Bad design fault. Ours is 2014 model and I’m told they have made attempts to correct in the newer models. The front hatches draining into the mid hatches is only part of the issue (ours now drain overboard) as all the lids leak. Back hatches leak too. We are still working on it.
