Load on the sidewall which then generates heat into the core of the tyre instead of being the next speedway champion sliding it around like no tomorrow the best way to explain it is go hard into the corner on cold tyres and turn hard full lock to the direction your going. Feel the fronts through the first few corners on the warm up lap. You’ll start to feel the grip come too you and then race the tyres from there if they’re not quite there then wait another two laps, once the tyres grip go like stick and you’ll see the lap times drop 😏

That’s exactly it

Ryan, I just started karting, and I got new tires put on for the first time. The car jumped a lot on the middle of the corners. Is it me just not driving it correctly, or is it something with the kart.
@NorbergNation3 жыл бұрын
It’s probably the kart. Try a stiffer axle

hey Ryan, love your vids. I really hope you could share the grip feel or tyre temperature feel during the whole race. Also, what kind of corner you trail brake very deep. thanks

Hopefully do something like that soon. I have a video on my channel dedicated to braking technique already.

Hey Ryan, I was just wondering if you have any tips on how to get faster like when you can break later in a corner or accelerate faster exiting the corner and when you should know to do that
@NorbergNation3 жыл бұрын
I have a video on braking on my channel, and I talk about how to apply the throttle correctly in the video about 5 bad habits.

As an old guy getting started I've been looking for ALL the advice I can get. Great educational vid Ryan and explained very well. Small clarification, will I be carrying the trailing rear wheel off the tarmac during this exercise or just up to that point?
@NorbergNation3 жыл бұрын
Probably not. Once the rear starts the slide it will stay down and won’t carry

@@NorbergNation have you seen the Fernando Doc? When he drove for Renault and Flavio Briatore he would understeer on purpose into the braking zone rotate through the apex and hammer the loud pedal down the straight.
