50 yr old woman here who has been in many relationships. My advice: Don't act, don't play difficult to get, don't make him jealous because whatever mask you decide to hide behind will eventually fall of, yes: you will get busted sooner or later. Be authentic, be yourself. Have a good life that doesn't spin around men, have hobbies, passions and goals. Pursue them. Be happy single, but if the right person comes along and makes your life more amazing grab him. If he ghosts you or play games he was never the right person to begin with, better you figure that out sooner rather than after 2 kids and a mortgage. Have boundaries. Finding a good man who you're compatible with is not that easy and you will kiss a few frogs in the way. Don;t be scared. Life is short.

If you want a long lasting relationship stop acting like an immature adult playing games. Be wise and treat others the way you want to be treated....just saying.
@datingcoachryanpatrick5 жыл бұрын
I mean, if the "golden rule" and courtship meshed that well together, that would be fantastic! Unfortunately, the are rules to courtship. I don't profess games in my videos, but rather shifts in mindset and priorities. I feel women fare much better by leaning back in the beginning, letting the man lead (because he needs that to feel invested in you) and making yourself a priority before any man. Once you're in a committed, long-lasting relationship, the rules change ("golden rule" all day!). But if a woman gushes her heart out to a man in the first month of dating him because she wants him to do the same in return, he's going to bolt. Sad but true.
@ohlalamuah58325 жыл бұрын
@@datingcoachryanpatrick coutship is a period in which a couple have the opportunity to get to know each other so why pretend to be someone you are not, why play the hard to get card to keep him interested, i mean if a guy really see you as a potential life partner he will accept you the way you are and if he doesn't well maybe he isn't the right guy for you and you need to move on. Please ladies don't sabotage your relationships with stupid games...put aside your fears and insecurities and be yourselves, give love without expectations, a wise guy always appreciate a wise woman who is not afraid to express her feelings.

@@ohlalamuah5832 I'm 100% OK with disagreement on this channel, and I think we might just be missing each other on this one. 🙂 Again, I don't promote games here. Either way, I appreciate your perspective here 😉

How To Make Any Guy Miss You- Ryan Patrick: Make yourself a rare commodity and prompt him to put in the work. 1. Don't initiate reaching out. 2. Be sparse with the details (not even in a long-term relationship; pull back on the things he doesn't need to know or none of his biz e.g. I'm busy NOT: I'm going out with my friends now but I can do Friday) 3. Don't be a yes girl (probably a doormat); say NO. 4. Showcase the goods, then remove them. Be totally present when dating him during first phase, but don't see him more than once a week for the first 6 weeks of dating him. 5. Host a group event, for him to see you socialise. Not to try to make him jealous, but just that you have other options when it comes to men. 6. Giving him the rare gift of intimacy (not sex the first 30 days; intimacy is not sex). 7. Be OK not missing him - don't idealise him; have him wondering whether he is missed. Keep your social life strong.

I think it depends a lot on the man in question. If he has a healthy ego and good self esteem then all these things will probably work well. If he is low in confidence or traumatised then he will never advance himself enough to initiate anything. Not all men - especially as you get older are without flaws and a history that can make a person loose self confidence, that doesn't make them less valuable and your interest might be a game changer for them...

@@gavhlev2853 lol that's quite the assumption about a relationship you know nothing about. Anyone can get bored with anything. A guy or girl can get bored of someone playing games to keep them interested and move onto someone more willing to give them the attention they want as well. What it breaks down to is absolutely loving the person for who they truly are for a long lasting relationship. But that requires both people to feel that way. It's hard to find. I was lucky I found it. We have now known each other for 15 years. I think if one of us was going to get bored we would have already. We have had nothing but a blast.

Make sure you look him in the eyes in the bedroom and never let him forget that night. Anyway... I was proposed to at least 100 times before I got married and stayed married. You are helping women who want to find a good man... so many feminists don't realize they will want a marriage one day.. and it will be too late. I'm fine with breaking up because that's his prerogative, but I wish I had an explanation or any sign whatsoever that I ever meant anything to him 😒 We were friends before dating, too, so he just flushed 4 years of friendship down the toilet.

Great video! Going on a girls trip & sending pics of you having fun is a way to have him miss you!
@datingcoachryanpatrick5 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Yes, but I wouldn't text him those directly. That would come across maybe a little too obvious if it's too early in the relationship (under 3 months). I might instead throw those photos on Instagram if it makes you happy. Maybe he sees them, maybe he doesn't. That way, it isn't manipulative because you're not married to any sort of result by doing that 😉 BUT if it's been 3+ months with him, I think thats totally cool.

I wasn’t unfriendly or aloof with him we had tons of fun, I just knew my value and wasn’t going to hand it over until I knew he was the right guy. Married over 15 yrs now ❤️ I think I also knew his worth at the time too and wasn’t going to string him along if I wasn’t sure. I had a lot of respect for him too.

When has "just falling in love" served anybody? If you don't know what to do with that love, how to nurture it, how to grow it.... how the heck does that benefit or serve anybody truly? Love involves *work* and most people don't want to deal with that part 🙂

I’m very sorry for your loss, Sweet Smarts. I feel for most people, love ends up becoming much more complicated than the act of “falling” itself. It isn’t the phase where love ends up or settles(I.e. The “honeymoon” phase); it’s simply an entry point, based on my response to your original comment.

@Pizza Passta I will agree with that! The mindsets of people have so changed. Relationships take time, which people act like they don't have anymore.

Wow. No wonder I’ve been married and divorced 4 times. As well as a few long term committed relationships that went to hell in a hand basket. No one has ever told me the real truth about men before, and those that hint at it want you to spend a bunch of money on some course which I can’t afford. THANK YOU FOR MAKING YOUR VIDEOS AND NOT TRYING TO SELL ME A BUNCH OF PROGRAMS THAT I CANT AFFORD. There might actually be hope for me yet because I’ve pretty much given up on it and I was resigning myself to spending the rest of my life alone and lonely, when I really want to have the companionship and intimacy. I hate the dating game. I hate mind games, or feeling like I’m just being strung along.

I started talking to a guy. We both made eye contact & we both agreed we felt great! He set up a second date, but he became “busy” with family & didn’t text for a few days. He would respond when I texted if all was well? He all of a sudden text me from an unknown number not specifying it was him. I called him to ask what that was all about. He didn’t answer. He hasn’t text back. We really did hit it off great, a week later, he started fading away. I don’t like mind games. Either you like me or you don’t.

While you were advising us to be sparse with the details (which I also read as holding off on the story of one's life); keeping our lives full; having preferences and being able to voice them, etc, I thought - how safe you are keeping yourself if, in fact, he's really not as into you as you would have liked to believe he is. If he really is not that interested, then you've lost nothing, and especially not your hopes.

Be loyal but never let him forget you have options. Be safe for him to open up to, and encourage him but don't be afraid to call him out for dismissive behavior. Treat him important but don't make him the center of your universe and rearrange your whole day around him. Finish what you were doing before you text back, apologize for the delay if it was longer than a half hour. Men are not complicated, they don't like to be chased, and the awareness of a little competition will cause them to focus on winning you. Be up front about what you want and what you are offering then stick to your boundaries. Every now and then tell him you will be out for the day and be out for the day, not hugging your phone...wanna make him smile? Partway through that day tell him you are thinking of him. Most importantly dont ever let him get away with not treating you how you want to be treated! If he starts slacking, tell him you aren't feeling it right now. Never forget that for every guy out there willing to treat you bad, there's another wishing he had the chance to show that other dude how it is done ;)

They text and also verbally ask me directly if I miss them. This puts me on the spot and totally turns me off. It's full of weirdness and I feel it. I haven't missed them at all and don't know why they'd think I would. So I say, Miss you?? Why would I miss you? We don't know each other well enough to miss each other, why, did you miss me?? They'll say yes. I'm lost.

Look, I know these are meant to help us understand the way men think and react but they leave me feeling disgusted and hollow for the games that "need" to be played. I get that you say it's not a game but I feels like that. It's a dance but a little ridiculous at times to be honest.
@datingcoachryanpatrick5 жыл бұрын
The problem is you're dealing with his subconscious mind a lot of the times. You simply have to communicate with that side of him differently than "straight conscious" communication. I address this really well about why it may feel like "games" in my video coming out this Monday dealing with *emotionally distant (and unavailable) men*, so be sure to check that out 😉

Strategies are for business plans, try being yourself and loving yourself first, if a man is smart he will recognize your value without you having to prove it. Life and relationships should flow naturally and shouldn't be this much effort. It's sad really that there is so much material that needs to be conveyed to simply fall in love
