The Sims 2: Bon Voyage offers the LEAST relaxing vacations

I decided to take a little summer holiday in The Sims 2: Bon Voyage. Whoever said going on holiday is relaxing has clearly never taken sims with them before. I want a refund.

its weird, that expansion pack was good back in the day in 2006, now I tried it again and its the most boring expansion pack ever existed....... back in the day I would get ALL the sims 2 expansion packs, I would go to the store the day they were released and buy them, and they were THE GAME, when they announced Bon Voyage, we were all excited, even if the game wasnt like we expected, we still had fun, I took my sims to the beach and I was so so so happy to have the original Bon Voyage expansion back BOX in my desktop, the month it was released, I felt so good about my Sims 2 collection, cause they were new, however I downloaded the sims 2 collection for Mac last year, to remember it, and it was still good but when I took my sims for a vacation to the beach, it was painful, you cant do ANYTHING, I rather have thousands of rabbit holes like in Sims 3 and 4, but a full cute scenery to walk around, than the boring useless lots in sims 2 Bon Voyage, there was literally 12 lots or something in Bon Voyage but they were literally the same, and there was nothing, I had to get my sims back home in a few minutes, it was really meaningless and as much as I remember having the days of my life in 2006, I just cant understand how I didnt get bored back then !!!!! that expansion pack is just boring as fck !!!!! no joke

It’s called the starship UI mod. I think I got it from modthesims. It’s not too hard to install but if you want to install it and you struggle feel free to message me. IG is probably best!

Bon Voyage is probably my favourite pack of the sims 2, my only regret is not buying it earlier than I did (I bought them out of order and bon voyage was one of the last I acquired)

I’m the same! I only bought the packs when I could afford them so I never had them in order. I wish I could go back in time and buy young Ryan all of the packs when they came out 🤣
