What happens if 8 kids live alone in The Sims 3?

I made a child live alone in The Sims 3 not too long ago. It was hard but I feel like I could make it even more difficult.
So I forced 8 kids to live together with no money and no house to see whether they could survive. This might be my worst challenge yet!

Simple: de-age to the point where you require aid at all times (aka become a newborn) and don’t have anyone around when you do so. Have fun trying to survive when your vision is extremely blurry and you can’t hold in a meal for more than two hours and also you have no muscle control 🤩

I'm surprised you've never gotten the tent from the Island Paradise expansion (it's a colour swap of the cheap tent from WA but available in buy mode). A whole bunch of sims can sleep in that outdoors no problem, all for $220.

the collection helper! it was an item that you could set to show different kinds of spawns. it cost 40,000 lifetime happiness points tho so it might be hard to obtain in a video like this haha

Tip: you can grill fish and otherwise inedible plants (mandrake root) and marshmallows over a fire pit to fulfill hunger. Though a fire pit is quite expensive and only spawns in the park in winter

I think they're organized by age (at least, that's how it is in Sims 4). Newly created sims ages are a bit randomized the moment you add them to the world. Which is why they can be "shuffled" when you play them.

the sim order is by age and the age is calculated by their star signs! so you could make them in alphabetical order if they had the same sign or made their signs in order of the zodiac :)

Never smelt any metals under $54 because you lose money. Unless you're going for the reward that after smelting so many things you get bonus ingots.

edit: just realized he showed something really similar but with butterflies, im not done the video yet lol. something i always did was when you got told to pick out specific rocks or minerals for school projects, once you have some dont bring them back to the school, because you get to see where each rock is and you can continue picking them up and after you get the required ones for school. you can sell them. you can usually get 2000-3000 depending on what you sold if im remembering correctly

Make them fish in the sea! That's where the sharks and clown fish are 😂😂 Also, I think kids can learn the painting and the writing skills, so if you ever do this challenge again, make them paint and write too. I think it's more lucrative than fishing. Edit: There are public computers you can use to write at the library. The loner would have enjoyed that, actually.

I'm trying to figure out what bar you have at 23:00 😂 Always got a bit annoyed that the only bars in Sunset Valley were the premade supernatural hangouts if you had Supernatural, but that bar looks like a fun lot! Possibly a Showtime premade? Only recently obtained that EP, so it's out of my depth LOL!

If you didn’t know you lose money when you leave the lot so you want to sell the stuff you just got on said lot. Also it’s the red flowers you want.

Oh, what a challenge. I really liked it. I wonder if it would have been easier in Twinbrook with that fire station there. As far as I remember, there are beds and a fridge there, though I am not sure if kids can use that fridge. I think during their first 1-2 days they would have been able to sleep at the fire station in daytime and paint at home at night. There are also junkyards there. Kids can use them just like adults to search for something valuable.

Well, thank you, Ryan. I'm now reloading Sims 3 on my old Vista laptop, (yes it is still functional), after 12 years sober. Prolly gonna romance as many Champs Les Sims ladies as I can to boost their population. But,,of course, not take any responsibility for any of the spawnlings, (Simslings??) .

Hi Ryan, if you go on Mod The Sims or Naughty Sims Assylum, I'm pretty sure there are mods for TS3 that make it possible for kids to garden, use a regular stove, and adult sims to bathe in the ocean/river etc if you ever decide to try the challenge again! :)

@@ryanplaysthesims No problem! A lot of the tweaks found on NSA are game changing and I can't play without them. Also, google SimsPlayer2765's List of Favorite Custom Content and Mods Sites, they have a whole list since content is so much harder to find after TS4 came out.

@@ryanplaysthesims there is a mod on MTS called the “no stretch children can series” that allows kids to pay bills and garden and such. Super helpful mod!
