I had this exact same issue you talked about in the first 5mins. No one willing to help me out or socialise with me but 1 person who still connects with me. I bought my first bible and walked in a church after 25yrs of not been to one. People were all keen to see me, and be kind at church but when it came down to seeing me outside of church they weren't down. I went to multiple churches, they took my personal phone number (you know how hard it was for me to walk into a church and also share my number on multiple occasions?). Talking about ministry on the streets, forget that, I legit walked into multiple churches. Now I don't go to church or read my bible. I've moved away from the one guy that took the time to help me out. Anyway I thought I'd just share this, that people aren't willing to help people who are willing to learn more about God. Straight up! I still believe though, and funny enough I'm moving back to the same area I originally left. Gonna catch up with him again. He's a good listener and I'm greatful he even tries to help me understand the hard questions I have. Pray for me please. Peace
