@@RyanShirley You were in the big Hohe Tauern National Park with Grossglockner and the Krimml Waterfalls, a favorite hiking place. Some day you might go to the other small province like Voralberg, Burgenland in the far east of Austria. Voralberg is mountains and Burgenland is fairly flat with hills. It is known for its vineyards and wine and its 12 castles but these are mostly Baroque palaces, not medieval. You're doing this right by doing all the incredible hkes and climbs now. Later on, cities like Vienna have tons of history, architecture, art and music to explore, not to mention gteat food. Many go to Salzburg for Mozart's birthplace (but the Mozart summer festival is super expensive). Austria is one of the first places I visited outside the U.S. when I was a teen.

wow, memories. i went to austria in june 2023, and i loved every second of it. Hallstatt, Gosau, Salzburg, the Grossglockner High Alpine Road, it was just all stunning and i will never forget it. but my absolute favourite thing i went to there which is not included in this video is the Eisriesenwelt ice cave, close to the Hohenwerfen Castle. it is just otherworldly and so mystical (and cold lol). its a little bit expensive but 1000% worth it, and also the cable cars and hikes to get there are just as awesome. totally recommend it to you ryan :)
