Your video has inspired me to book for last wk in Aug!! I’d love to rent a car & do a similar route. How expensive and difficult was finding parking? Esp in busier areas?
@vinesrealtygroup7 ай бұрын
I think the ease and cost of parking varies some with the size of the city or town you’re in. From our experience, the smaller the town or city, the cheaper and easier parking is to find. That’s why we typically try to pick up a car after leaving the major city we fly into and drop it off on our way back in, which is what we did in Munich. And I’d say the cost was about on par with what you’d pay in the US. Hope you have a great time on your trip! ☺

Thanks for watching our video! We stayed in Hallstatt, Berchtesgaden, Mittenwald, and Munich. As far as lakes and hikes, we visited lakes Königssee, Eibsee (we hiked around this lake), and Seebensee (we hiked to this lake together and then Will kept going and did a longer loop back). In addition to those hikes, we also did the Partnachklamm Gorge Hike (more of a short walk really). Hope that helps!

Can you please spell the name of the first location after Munich

I think the first location we mentioned after Munich was Dachau, where the concentration camp was.

Hi! You did all your hotel reservations before the trip begins, or just found for accommodation after arriving at each place?

Hey Gustavo, thanks for watching our video! We booked the rooms beforehand. I know some people do it once they arrive, but we too scared to do that ourselves haha.

If you got to do this trip again, would you recommend renting a car and driving or using trains?
@vinesrealtygroup Жыл бұрын
Hey Rebecca, thanks for watching our video! Depending on the price, I think I probably would rent a car again. It's obviously an added expense, but we liked the flexibility it provided, knowing we could go anywhere at anytime. And though I've heard the trains and buses are fantastic in that region, part of me thinks some of the things we did (like the Seebensee hike) might've been more difficult to figure out without a car. If we were just visiting bigger cities (Munich, Salzburg, etc), I probably would've opted for trains. I'm sure you'd have a great experience either way though!
