Thank you so much for the kind words, it's always lovely to have great feedback. Yes - you do need this pedal, Uncle Ryan says go buy it. Thanks for watching (I did a video on the El Capistan last week if that's useful at all to you). kzbin.info/www/bejne/pnS7YquomJKYfaM

Been looking for a good review for the Deco on keys for a good bit now. Absolutely rock solid playing. Youve sold me. Will definitely pick one of these up for my Rhodes.
@ryantaylorlive2 жыл бұрын
Yeah - I use this on my Rhodes Mk1 and it adds all kinds of fuzzy drifty loveliness to it. Especially with a big reverb or delay adding some natural chorus to the tape wobble.
@HermanHiltsman2 жыл бұрын
@@ryantaylorlive I picked one up. Its soo good. Love that old 70's tape wobble. And the Grit from the saturation knob. Its like the Rhodes was meant to be played with this pedal. If you haven't tried one yet, I highly recommend the Strymon Flint for Rhodes as well. The two pair so well.

This pedal is last in my recording chain, use it for mixing as an outboard effect, it does wonders to my sound.
@ryantaylorlive2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, it's awesome. I use a lot of analogue instruments in my studio and this pedal was a quick solution to getting some grit and movement to my digital instruments on stage. Looking forward to looping it up as outboard too.

Great tones. As a guitarist it wasn't my cup of tea, but here it looks (sounds) like it's the perfect match for vintage keys!

I've put it on keys, drum bus, whole mixes - but on stage it's my "always on" pedal. Adds 10% more sexiness to anything really. Thanks for watching.

Great demo! How would you compare it to the nord built in fx like vibe etc? Thanks and keep it coming..
@ryantaylorlive2 жыл бұрын
It is way more unpredictable than vibe in terms of how and when it "wobbles" - which I prefer. I tend to use the saturation side as a stomp type effect to boost the signal when I'm soloing - which can, of course, be handled by the built in speaker emulation. The advantage to having the pedal allows me to have the built in rotary on the organ, whilst saturating the piano layer with the Deco - particularly handy when splitting the outputs.
@tarkus30042 жыл бұрын
@@ryantaylorlive I find the unpredictable wobbling and the saturation very tempting. This could benefit the Nord sound and give you control of its character (which we don't have now. Nord always has its corporate branded sound, which is very good already but always on the clean side, sort of).

if I think how much money do you spend today to "" "imitate" "" the sounds of the 70s. When I was 16 years old. Why all this? Just Because you don't want to carry weight. Piano fender 80 kg. Hammond C3 +Leslie....piano Yamaha CP 80......Ext.....Ext..... Poor, comfortable, lazy but very fast musicians of today !!!!!! All super fast with a thousand scales. Incomprehensible dissonant chords. You all play non-existent things. There was someone who publishes these videos playing a song. One song. Zero. Practically half the keyboard players do the rhythms that guitarists did and the other half compete to see who is faster. The heart? The melody? The semplicity? Friendship between musicians? Where is the repertoire?

@@ryantaylorlive Dear friend, it was not a criticism of you. I just mentioned one situation. Don't take the comment as a criticism of you. To your ability to play. It was a peaceful commentary on what we continually see on KZbin. Do not be offended . You are certainly very good and you know many songs. But if you also take a tour on KZbin, you will agree with me. However, you were very kind in your response. I appreciate it. I am sixty-one and I can assure you that you are much more polite than many. So: W the music. W art in all its logical expressions. W people like you who show politeness and modesty. A hug from what "was" the homeland of art, now, the homeland of thieves. I really like Michel Camillo and George Shearing. Bye Bye. Always music-loving friends.
