Have you considered swapping your folding counter for a good quality butcher's block? That way you can chop and prep directly on the counter without needing a cutting board and you can just wipe it down with disinfectant between uses.

Cooking tip: Put a damp paper towel under you cutting board or a small hand towel. It will keep the cutting from moving around on ya 😉

Something I started doing, and then was validated when I later saw Guy Fieri do, is put a moistened, but not fully wet, paper towel under the cutting board to keep it stationery and a lot safer. I swear I hold my breath when I watch you cook. 🤣🤣

Um...I could be wrong, the Hamptons are on Long Island NY, on the tip of Long Island. Connecticut is north and west of The Hamptons on the north shore of Long Island Sound up on the mainland. You could say it is *like* The Hamptons, bit it isn't the Hamptons.

Maybe you should try using small ziplock bags. Separate and shape the meat to the height of your freeze to maximize your freezer space. It should allow about 6 packs of meat going across. I don't know about flating them. Maybe two stacks of three. 😊😊Good 🤞.. Catcha later.

Use rice instead of pasta, throw in some diced tomatoes & swap the spinach for zucchini & you’ll have Albondigas. Mexican meatball soup!

Oh, you can use the ziplock bags to freeze your leftovers to include your soup for another day. Oh, sometimes you would need to flatten liquids like soup and half freeze then shape them to fit. It, helps because containers takes up a lot of room.😊 ✌

Love the episode. FWIW, The Hamptons are the Eastern end of Long Island, NY. I've never heard the term "the Hamptons" to refer generally to a wealthy area or more specifically to Connecticut.

The Hamptons are in NY..on Long Island. You can get there from CT via three ferry’s. Silly Ryan. Are you from California? Oh..I am a Chef that worked with mostly Italian cuisine. If you soak stale bread or your breadcrumbs in milk before adding them to the mixture..it makes the polpettes nice and moist. You are a natural cook with great knife skills. Appreciate the way you tuck your fingers. I use Better than Bullion also. It’s good stuff.

we have a crown bus and king bed. Bed is longways. Heads by rear of bus. Wen the bus is tilted slightly forward with back end higher than the front makes the very best bites sleep. 😊

You should get a camera mount for your ceiling that you can to a top down view while you're cooking. It'll free up both hands and you wouldn't have to continue moving the camera. Just a thought

They make these really thin chopping boards that take almost no space, and they curl up so you can slide your stuff into the pan without dropping it all over. I feel like it’d be better than having to grab it all with one hand while holding the camera lol

Well I can see how Ryan got confused since there IS a small town called Hampton, CT - without the “S”. I was confused at first but for someone not from New England, it’s an understandable mistake. You may have enjoyed your soup a bit more if you cooked your pasta seperately then added to soup when cooked. Cooking the pasta in the soup adds lots of starch which alters the flavor.

I love Italian Wedding Soup. Generally use either orzo or barley. And make it vegan with fake meatballs and veggie broth. Grow tons of greens in my yard so use those too -- beet greens, swiss chard, kale. When you are back in San Diego, the Sprouts stores have a soup bar which often features a really good Italian Wedding Soup. Those stores are good in general -- kinda like a cheaper Whole Foods. Better quality and better treatment of employees than Walmart. Where abouts are you in San Diego? I visit the North County area regularly. Fond of the Encinitas and San Marcus Sprouts stores.
